Thread: Another simple question: is it possible to have two droids called at once?

creature handlers can have multiple droids out at once because the game treats droids like creatures in that respect. otherwise, the answer is no.
Actually this isn't correct, unless there has been a change to the CH tree recently. The last time I checked on this one, Creature Handlers are able to call 1 droid, their total number of pets, and 3 faction perks. (not certain on the three perks.)
This was around at the time of the pet change that limited non-CH pets to level 10 and 'killed' the CH professions uberness.
Every other profession was changed so that they could only call 1 droid or 1 pet, yet the CHs retained the ability to call their max critters along with everything else.
At least this was how it was back when I was gathering info during Publish 5(?) on TC. As I said, this could have changed by now, but I don't think it has......
I've had many a 1-star stalker for some time.
It's all good. I've got his back.

I'm sure you are probably right then. I don't have CH so haven't tested, I've just seen it stated many times and haven't seen it refuted so assumed it was true.
sorry for the misinformation.

I was hoping to make up a musicalband of me and somedroids, but I soon saw that it would be impossible - it seems you can only call one droid at a time. Does anyone know if it's possible to have two droids out at once? If so, what skill do I need in order to do it? Any ideas?
You have to call one in Coronet, have it patrol and keep itself busy while you shuttle to Tyrena to call another then have it follow you ON FOOT back to Coronet.
Viola, two droids out.
Often one of them will auto-store though. ![]()
The only time I have ever found this useful is to leave a Barker droid in Coronet while I call my crafting droid back in my home town, two zones away.
Some call this an exploit. I don't care. It just makes sense and I am not hurting anybodydoing it. ![]()
There is no reason a DE should only be able to call one droid anyways. Bad enough we can't use half the droids we make, even though we PROGRAM them to do what they do....

If you get caught calling 2 droids, you may be banned, this is a serious problem lately, and they are not happy about it.
SOE only bans people who cause others to stop playing and paying.
If me using a Barker in Coronet and a Crafting droid in my own town is game breaking, I'm sure they would have said something or fixed it by now. We are not Creature Handlers, we are Engineers.
If I was doing this with two combat droids in the same area using it to have a tactical advantage I would agree with you, but in this situation all I am doing is being a DE, who should be able to call AT LEASTtwo droids anyway.......
Don't like it? Why don't you get us nerfed some more?
