2level 4 armour now gives medium 40%

2level 5 should give heavy 25%

2level 6 should give heavy 40%

That way our probots have some value against the CH pets.

That wouldn't help. They still can't do the damage. With a listed damage of 50-50 my probot does mostly 25-35 with a few in the high 40's. My rock beetle is rated for 150 and does around 130 nearly every hit. and to make things worse, the probot is rated lvl 16 while the bug is only 13. having the probot grouped throws off the enemy rating giving them a lower rating then they should have. blues should be whites, etc..

Hostiles tend to go after what does the most damage. I make CDEF's that are rated 63 max damage and do over 100 with only a little carbine skill. And that's before slicing and powerups. So What good is a probot that can take a pounding if it can't dish enough out to draw the enemy off you and on it? Tanks can't tank if the are ignored by the enemy.

Probots aren't ignored as tanks as long as you aren't standing right on top of them.

Try this. Tell the bot to attack first, and as it does move away from it. The mob will stay on the probot while you shoot it to death. I do this all night.

Probots already last longer in combat than pets that non-ch can use. The problem is they do 1/3 less damage.

I disagree. I don't WANT my droid to do damage, that would be stealing XP from me that I can get by killing the critter. What I want is for it to absorb lots of damage that would otherwise go directly to my dome.

The real problem is that damage to probots is not healable because there are no stimpacks for droids like there are for pets.

Just give me working droid 'stimpacks' and the probot becomes an amazing tank.

I use probots and pets for defence, NOT attack. When they start fighting, combat has already started, some stupid spawn has poped too **edit** close and attacked before I could get away. My pets are set to protect and attack anything that attacks me. They MUST do enough damage to get the mobs attention off me.

i use them for defense too. at lok, i'd let it tank lairs. when new creatures pop, they go straight for my probot. let it get hit. I'd survive the encounter

If the probots are designed to be tanking pets<as the armour and low dmg implies> then let it get to heavy. that would really help tanking

Ok the way I see it is this the imperials get atst and eventually at at a group of ten rebels without any commando can't even take one atst down. Ok now consider this we have probots that do no damage and can't take any either and troops that can do a little damage and take a little too but have no armor to speak of. I'd just like a weapon that can do as much damage as the rest. I mean a t21 I found out after I spent two months working on rifleman maxes out at like 360 damage and it's only saving grace is armor piercing which is like a fly against an at st and they aren't even supposed to be scary the at at is. ok my point is this now I have spent a month working on droid engineer and the probots can't even take a hit let alone make one. one shot from an atst each one for me and one for my bot. This game is starting to get really lame. It's no fun if we don't even have a fighting chance let alone a one in a million.

Im with the guy that said he doesnt want it stronger just be able to heal the white bars. I use the stay command and then walk a few meters away from him and tell him to attack (I would bet dimes to dollars that if they had a truck driver personality chip and it wasinstaled he would have some choice words for me about the commands I gave him).

I can kill mountian squills this way, and get the XP, considering those things are crawling all over my homestead, that and vareigeteddfe womp rats, I think it has to do with the radioactives my fusion pulls up.

Er, in keeping with the continuity of the Star Wars World i point everyone to the single incident we see a probot in EMpire Strikes Back where they speak of the probot saying it wasnt very hard to kill. Lets keep that tradition and just understand that the Probot is not a combat weapon.

We should allow all of you DE's to create combat droids such as the ones we see in Ep1 and 2. Why? All of those should have armour made by armoursmiths, weapon modules by weaponsmiths, etc... Would broaden the economy. Heck, add in components for shield generators would be available as well.

Think outside the existing box and ask for something novel...

Er ... we do.

I would not be happy to be reduced to just making the chasis.
