Thread: Mandalorian Helmet/Bracer crafting.
Thanks.

Will this ever be of any importance to you guys? Many of us out there have Helmets that we need to recraft, but due to various bugs, MDE's(and any other combination of profs here) only get 20 colors to color their helmet/bracer with, all silver/greys, whereas tailors and armorsmiths get 255 on their pieces. Considering that MDE's are pretty much the highest demand when crafting Mandalorian being most go for helmets, will we ever see you guys trying to help us in this bug? Even CSR's cant recolor them to any color right now because they are gated at the same issue DE's are, only 20 colors right now.
Thanks.
Please don't take this the wrong way. But it's not something you are going to get DE's to care abotu anytime soon probably. Right now our entire profession is practically unplayable, due to bugs and game design, for a long time we have been shouting for attention from the developers.
If by some odd chance, attention does get directed this way, Mando Helm coloring is not going to be at the top of our list of things to fix.

All that being said, I don't see why it can't at least be put on the bug list. Even if it is a low priority.
Exactly. I feel your pain guys, i've been a MDE before, i know what its like. But theres no reason why you guys cant put it on your bug list
It will be on the Centralized Droid Issues thread "Soon" (tm). I currently am in the process of re-writing the Centralized Droid Issues thread, again, and should have a much more indepth listing of all known, at least known to me, issues.

Don't wanna drag their problems over here, but pets are our weapons. And they nerf'd the elite pets. Until they fix them, we could be up chit creek. I realize that the CL bug hit DE's as well, but only a portion of a DE's wares are combat related. I'm sure XX amount of combat droids are sold on any given week, however the bulk of a DE's sales are most likely from BH Droids, Crafting Station droids, or Entertainers droids.* So the CL bug hit us CH's hardest.

Guess you haven't read the CH forums today then.....

From what I know, a fix is already in the pipe, to head to TC.
I know from first hand knowledge how much of a pain this issue is, since I have a CH both on TC and Live.
I would also guess that the only reason that Combat Droids aren't a huge market for DEs yet would be based on past Droid Experiences.
Up until recently, all combat droids were considered to be a joke. Most people haven't the faintest clue as to how kick arse a combat droid now is, espeically for Creature Handlers. I constantly group with a Combat Droid, no matter what CL I am. A Master CH with 3 CL23 pets and 1 CL30 droid and couple of good combat specials will make short work of most of the baddies in the game.
Until the bad reputation of droids and droid use is resolved, combat droid sales will never increase.
Ok...back on topic. ![]()

Traie, CH has never had a problem having bugs everytime there is an update/patch. Wow, this last bug has messed up CH! Don't even get me started.

So anyways, my MDE alt finally got an invite to the DWB for some mando armor. Any tips other than "don't try to count the number of times you die"?
Create a droid army?
Since it appears that you don't have any combat skills at all, the only suggestion that I have would be group up with 1 CL80 toon and 6 CL30 Combat Droids, that all have close to perfect Auto-Repair Modules.
Before you hit the DWB, craft 6 Adv R3s with 1 Level 6 Armor, 2 Combat Modules and 4 22+ Rated Auto-Repair Modules. Pass 5 of the droids out to those in the group and keep one for yourself. Group up with one of the CL80 peeps and have the 5 people befriend their droids to you. Have each person turn on the Auto-Repair Modules, one at a time in 1 second intervals. Group up with all 6 droids and /tellpet them to guard you.
All 6 droids should pick up the damage reduction of the CL80 in your group and be able to heal all grouped droids within30meters for roughly 530 Health every 10 seconds. Make sure thateveryone uses the fresh deed that you give time, so that you can use the 9k Armor Effectiveness.
If you use this strategy, youmay even be able to use the droid group to help take down some of the baddies in the area.

...guess I shoulda mentioned: The person who invited me was a jedi, and it was mentioned that one other crafter was going, so I assume that the other 5 persons are all CL80's with at least one doctor in the mix.
Unless the 5 people are extremely well coordinated and have uber leet temps, I'd wager aguess that it would be10-14peopleto protect 2 crafters. If that is the case, then even better.
If this is the case, then do the above mentioned for each crafter. This way, you can have the two crafters, at least 8 droids between you and all of the PC fighters. 2 droid figther groups would actually help the main fighter group out. Just be sure to have both crafters befriended to the droids, so that you can use the heck out of Droid Repair Kits on all of the droids.
