Last night I built a droid brain for an R4 unit and completed the R4 for personal use.

I get up this morning, the mod is still there, but I can't find it! I can't make a Droid Brain now.

Is anybody else getting crazy anomalies like this?

For some schematics to come up, you have to use your Droid and Weapon Crafting Tool, and be near the Crafting Station. Also note, that some crafting stations appear to be bugged these days, not bringing up the specialized schematics. I suspect it's one of these problems.

No, that's the problem. It was there last night, in fact I produced the object just outside the Merchant trainer building in Theed with no station nearby.

Now it doesnt come up at all, with any tool or crafting station.

The SnowDog is correct. The Droid Brain requires a crafting station. One possibility for it working last night is that someone else with a droid with a crafting station may have been near enough to you so that you were included in the area of influence of the station.

Go near a weapon/droid/crafting station and try again. If you still don't have your schematic, then /bug it.

Also, if there are two kinds of crafting stations near each other like one in a droid and a stationary one, there will be conflicts (the public stations seem to be immune to this). If you are standing next to a stationary crafting station make sure all droids are put away. If you are using your crafting station in your droid, make sure you are not anywhere near another station.

I get this all the time if I am in my shop and I pull out a droid w/ a crafting station in it to make a piece of clothing or food. Also, if a customer is excited about thier new droid, they take it out in my shop, and I am starting on the next droid, I cannot experiment until all droids either leave the shop, or are put away.

It seems that droid crafting stations usually have priority over stationary crafting stations, just like camp medical modifiers have priority over droid medical modifiers.

I think there are actually two types of crafting stations. Last night I was near Theed's crafting station but the adv. motion mechanism (or something like that) wasn't in my list of options to build, yet other options requiring a crafting station were there (like probot deed). I remember I heared something about this and went to someone's house with a personal crafting station, and there it was.
So I guess a town's crafting station is not the most advanced station you can find.

Wolfing, you are correct.

Private crafting stations are more advanced than the public ones, and certain high-complexity items cannot be made at public stations.

Droid/Weapon/General crafting modules placed in droids act as private stations, granting the full range of craftable items when used with the specialized tool.

Something else for DEV to look into as well.

Anything with a complexity of 15 or less can be made with the generic crafting tool. Between 16 and 20, you'll need the appropriate specialized tool, between 21 and 25, this tool and be near a public crafting station. Over 25, you'll need this tool and be near a private crafting station.

I have a +40 crafting station in my shop, 2 +7 tools and a +14 tool.

Somehow, I must have been near a droid, although I thought I was alone since it was late at night.

When I got to my shop, I opened the tool and it wasnt there, but I was standing just outside the range of the station, that was the problem.
