Thread: Question on Ethics
The only bad part is that he/she is sapping your stock on BH droids. I guess you'll want to queue up another run and ration it out more. That's what I always did. Then you don't have to worry about these folks as much.
If you have other stock, and a loyal customer-base, it won't matter.

Respectfully,
Itis the best defense as a market to battle the undercutters of the galaxy.
Without decay, it's really the only margin-protection there is...
Respectfully,
Bottom line is, I think I'm just mad that someone else is selling my droids at a higher cost. It's really not an ethics thing...
I completely agree with upping prices (though not dramatically). For what it takes to put together R3's loadad with whatever you put in them and the lack of decay, the customer gets a steal. That's half the reason why most people don't go DE to begin with. When I started selling 59-rated R3's, I started at 80K. A guildie gave me the uber copper. I found some tolium gas and 998OQ inert gas dirt cheap (funded by a guildie). Now, I'm selling my 56-rated at 100K. I make 59-rated for only the best customers and still sell them at 80K to them, but many of those folks buy my 56 at 100K and only ask for the 59's when they really need them.
If this guy is going to continue running his "Droid Vendor" and doing nothing than reselling everyone else's droids at ridiculously high prices, my guild said they would supply the resources and lots to build enough droids to flood the market and smoke him out. Either A) he's wasted his credits and can't recover his cost, or B) I donate all my profits back to the guild to do better things with them. But, I don't think I'm going to go to that extreme. It'llpinch too many other DE's on Bria, and that's basically shooting your brethren in the head.
The odd part about it is when detonation droids aren't even working, I'm still selling 70+ at 100K!!!!
Worked with a Master Merchant (one of the biggest on Ahazi) and also ran my own vendors. I was taking advantage of the power-buyers to supply even more. There's no reason to not support bulk business deals when you can handle them.
I'd just make the same amount for myself as what he ordered. Over time, I had all that I'd need to sell for quite some time crated.
NOTE: That last statement should tell you all about the state of how factories affect our galaxies.

I've had an arrangement before where someone actually approached me and asked if he could resell a small quantity of my droids, and was even up-front about his pricing. I was fine with that, because he wasn't buying out my stock.
