Thread: What's on Deck next patch!
I started droping dancing 2 days ago to start putting into into rifleman
but ah well least this will help, I can get rid of more of dancing and respec it over. I don't plan on getting rid of droid engineer though anytime soon.

Yesterday I was able to make a 111 rated harvest R3, where the modules were rated at least 18.
Today with the same resources, I can make 117 rated R3s, where the modules are rated at at least 19.
HAM is still crap though.

Ah well. Guess they just made my decision about character respec for me.
I'm doing a Master Rifle/Master Pisto/Master Marksman termplate right now.
I go on vacation late tonight, and need to decidebefore I go - from my understanding respec won't be available when I get back so I need to make final decisions now.
They may add some bells and whistles in the future, but as we all know it won't last without decay. It will just be a boon then a lull, just like always.
I guess it's time to just sit on my fortune and start playing the game - though it's hard to imagine SWG without my crafting skills to fall back on.
I may regret it if I do, but I fear I'll look back in a year if I stay and regret much more spending another year getting slapped around when I've already had two full years full of it.
Another one bytes the dust...

So does any one know the algorithm that is now used to calculate what your max experimentation will be given a resources stats? The fix seems to make it a percentage of what the max stat can be, which makes sense, but I'm still struggling to figure out the algorithm so I can predetermine how resources are going to affect the final outcome. Specifcally, I'm wanting to do this for detonation droids. I've got an old formula from Enigma, but I can't figure out how the "precentages of the max" play into the overall exp percentage.
And another thing that caught my eye - Jedi's not losing experience points for dying. Any guesses as to how this will play into BH's going after them and, subsequently, if they will have a need to buy our detonation droids any more?
If your actual resource has 500 on that stat, then it is applied as 77%.
In order to make a formula, you need to know the exact limits on each resource type. That is actually listed in the files. I'll pull it later on and post it here.
The no xp loss on death for Jedi is only PvE, it's still there for PvP and so shouldn't affect BHs.
Thanks for the clarification on the Jedi. I wasn't thinking about the PvE. So this won't affect BH.
As far as the algorithm, I understand what makes a resources stats "77% tough" (or whatever it may be). My question is how does this affect the calculation for the overall experimentation % (which obviouslyhasan impact ondetonation power, etc).
