With all this focus being placed upon Combat Droids, Certs, and Profession changes I am puzzled why the topic was even brought up in the first place. From the work that Sintrosi did, to the newest Top 5, the community focus has always been that of giving droids more function.

Here is the question that needs to be asked.

What do you want to see first -

1. Added functions to our existing droids. (Through modules and/or functions for each droid.)


2. New combat droids. (That require a new profession, cert system, or DE tweak.)
   

Points that need to be considered

1. Developement of any idea will take time. Some ideas will take a lot longer to accomplish then other ideas.


2. Wanting both 1 & 2 at the same time will only slow down the developement process more so than a single idea.


3. Item 1 of the Top 5 DE issues has been addressed. (More Bug fixes)


4. Sales market. (Combat droids will have a limiting feature, as will certain droid functions.)

Combat, adding utility won't help us much.

We are getting our turn in the light, we have to take advantage of it. If we choose utility now, we won't see combat droids for a year.

But I'm thinking now is the only time we'll get any meaningful input into combat droids as well..

Utility is an issue that will constantly and persistantly be brought up and handled.

Combat is something I fear will not come up again if we pass this chance.

finally bring those changes, its not that much. models arealready ingame(stats are given to mob droids sofar)just typing new skilltree would finish that points. new droids system with modules and stuff would take way longer.

I prefer #2, but I don't find #1 objectionable at all. This is a MUCH better poll. Thank you Drashk.
