You're certainly not the only one. I'm just enjoying a little break from DE and grinding a few holo profs before that changes.

What I see is 2 months being wasted in the development of the game.

The droid publishes, according to what I've witnessed so far in the developers posts, include adding more of the same. They look different, but add nothing at all to the combat effectiveness of any given individual.

Therefore, combat droids are just something new to look at, not something to rush off to your local DE to purchase for yourself. This, of course, WILL happen...for all of about a week. Suddenly, everyone will want a new model, until they find out they are just as useless as the probots. February wasted.

Then, instead of fixing those utility droids (which btw are done fine, and just need their modules repaired after being nerfed all to hell), we are adding more...what, nerfed ones?

March wasted.

Then there is the Droid Handler. This is a crazy idea. All the droid handler will do will be the same as a CH only with droids, but will be so powerful in combat as to warrant a nerf, creature handler style, and the droids will become that much more lame.

I don't know. I just don't know.

For 7 months my DE professoin has been a "top priority". For 7 months I have seen very little positive happen. So when they rephrase that I am a "top priority" I just dont belive it till I see it.

The saddest part is that I'm willing to bet that we don't get a single new chassis out of the deal. What we're going to get is a "combat module" that is basically going to be the combat capabilities of the probot packaged into a module. We will be able to place this module into any general socket and give that droid combat capabilities. Woooooo Hooooooo!I can't wait!

slightly OT: Wasn't publish 6 supposed to have that lame list of bug fixes that SOE is passing off as the start of their droid invasion? Or did they bitchslap our content forward another month? (again)

Your not the only one feeling total apathy about the new Droid Retreat... New CL10 combat droids, woop dee doo! All cause they got a bur up their butts cause we wouldnt let them repeat the BE/CH mistake by letting them shove a DH profession down our throats. So instead of putting in Droid Engineer only high creature level combat droids, they are throwing throwing a bunch of utility modules at us and calling it a major publish. Bleh! This will be the biggest anti-climax ever in SWG history.

They have finally conditioned me as a DE to expect to be slapped in the face with every publish - I don't expect the next two to be any different.

It will be hilarious when Q puts up his inevitable Friday Feature on the invasion and people can't even find a DE interested in duct taping a gun to 3PO.

Add to this that the resources for Probots are going up and you have a very strong case to argue that SOE doesn't just ignore DE's anymore - no sir, now they downright HATE us.

That may seem harsh, but come on - the big fixes we are waiting for (especially this more UNDER Level 10 combat droids thing) are nothing we want or will find useful. It's like they are toying with us, "Here, how ya like them apples? That's what you get for demanding that we keep our promises - when we deliver, it's full of...."

dont forget the nice feature to be able to color them and in same patch destroying that feature with this silly 20 call limit of the color LOL good job mr. droid dev

nobody want a droid colored and realize after 20 calls color is totally gone. remove that at least and add alot! more new chassis to us at least . that cant be that hard to programm.

also let us make from every model chassis which we can display. chassis are anyways our best seller

well and my dream is make us useful, but thats a dream tho so long i would be happy with at least the above posted changes
