Heya, all...
With Publish 8 getting pushed to TC as I write this, I wanted to get a singular thread in place for any/all discussion, reports and comments here.
I'm sure I'll have another "Hot Topics!" sticky for Publish 8 in the long run but I figure we start with on 'catch-all' thread and expand from there.
Please keep this thread on topic for TC reports and comments/opinions on what's posted for Publish 8 later this afternoon.

It is pretty sad that the DEVs don't know what is going on the Test Center with the publish in the same hour they are installing it to the servers.

Well the excuse up until now of them not giving us info has been because they don't know what will make it to TC and what won't. Well they are installing it right now, but information is still not coming. So, my only assesment is that even as they are updating the Test Center Servers, they still don't know what is going to be on the Test Center Servers. That is what I mean by saying it is Sad they don't know even as they are updating them what will be in the publish.
This sounds very illogical. The only reasonable explanation I can come up withis that the whole: "We don't know what will make it to TC and what won't" is a complete hogwash cover up because they don't want to talk to us for some reason.

Oh....well, they know what's going up now. There's not much use in posting to IC or ID now. So, I suspect that all DE issues will be either here and/or in the In-Testing area.
That's why they will be posting Publish 8 TC patch notes, etc. in a bit.
I know the lack of info is frustrating (and I'll continue to work on that) but focusing the DE boards on that right now isn't going to help us a ton. It's not likely we ALL don't know it's an issue.

Besides, our next 'luv patch' isn't going to happen until next year, so as this one is in test center, communication is not an issue anymore.

Ok, that made no sense. I have been readin IC, IT, ID, Test Center, etc...those forums are offering no info either.
I guess it takes their entire DEV team to click: "Install" "Update" and "OK" a few times.

No, I am sure we will get at least one useless droid with the SWG:Space Invaders Expansion. Perhaps a droid that can wiggle on the end of a rope danglingfrom of an X-Wing.
