I came across this thread while searching for another one of mine... I have answered this question finally!!! LOL
Pet vitality packs heal droid vitality. Bummer eh?

Don't I have something about that in the Centralized Issues thread stickied at the top? Thought there was a wishlist item for something more 'droidish' for the vitality packs. If not, I'll have to add one.

Hi all,
Just wondering what do you use to repair a droid's vitality? Does it really make a difference if you fix the droid's vitality or not? I thought a repair kit would do it but that just works like a stimpack and heals the droids HAM bars.
Thanks,

We've been saying, I think, that droids seem to last forever and that's a problem for our market. Maybe I'm not getting this right but a customer of mine brought to my attention that his heavily used LE tanker droid's vitality got to 50/100 and the max HAM went to about 1/2.
He asked if I knew of a way to fix droid vitality and I said I don't, just wounds. Is there a way to repair droid vitality? If not, then droids DO die (only after lots and lots of combat).

Point the customer in the direction of a good BE, since you can use a Vitality pack on a droid.
Decay on a combat droid that is used heavily is not want is being brought. Its decay within non-combat droids that is the issue. Non-combat droids can last for ever, since combat is the only way for the droid to lose vitality, which will eventually kill the droid.

I believe (haven't tried it yet), that the Droid Repair Kits fix White Damage, and the Droid Reconstruction Kits restore black damage.
I am in the process of putting together one reconstruction kit to test on my Combat droid, and will confirm if this works

Only DEs can use Recon. Kits.

The last time I used a pet vitality pack, it worked on droids...that shouldn't have changed.

Yes they do still work on droids. I have only had one person ever ask me how to fix a droids vitality, and that one was at 70/100.
So figure even with Combat Droids, and using vitality packs, they still last virtually forever.

I do believe, that there's modules us DE"s can put into droids, that will 'reconstruct' (heal wounds) of other droids. I haven't made one of these myself, but I seem to recall from the descriptions of some of hte odd items in our schem list (it seems like 1/2 the items in our crafting list i never use!) that there was this ability.
I'l try and remember to check later

The question was about vitality. I didn't know the BE pet vitality packs worked on droids. That doesn't make any sense at all, but I will tell my customer to see a BE shop about getting a pack.

Sorry, Vitality= blue bar? I think i read on these forums at one piont that recharging your droids battery will fill up the blue bar? I could be wrong.
