This hit TC today.
Crafting
- Allowed survey/sampling while mounted.
Edit: Apparently, this only applies to actual creature mounts and not vehicles. Well...there goes that. 
Note: That means you don't have to use that macro anymore, AO.

Yea...I thought we'd scored there for a sec. till Tiggs clarified.
Still, I understand that the mount 'makers' need a market and reason to sell...so.../shrug

Yea I can see that to some extent, the only problem is this wont do it. Getting on an off a vehicle will still be faster then surveying on a mount. They should make it where actually fighting from on a mount is feasible if they want a mount market.
TK will it only be one minute at shuttleports as well, or just Starports?

Maybe this is some kind of precursor to that. (note: don't take that as some kind of sneaky announcement...I truly don't know).

I was just about to giddily post about this. The fact that I can't do it from the comfy seat of my AV-21 means it's pretty worthless to me, though.
I may use Buffy (my kaadu) for focusing on a particular concentration's high point though, once I've found the general area in my vehicle.

I'm terrbily happy about this - as well as the other changes listed on the new TC publish. I think it's a great trade-off, and gives me a reason to use my mount more. Allowing it on vehicles would have been too much - although the thought of flying around on a jetpack surveying sounds like a good time.
I'm all about taking my time in-game lately, and this will actually encourage me to survey more. I just hope there is no "you must be still" thing, because while it is a reasonably sound limitation the game systems don't seem able to handle that type of thing very easily.

Actually after just hopping on TestCenter, surveying does work on vehicles.
