So I've been working a factory run of 300 Probots for a littleover a week. Should I wait for final produciton till after the patch?

Yes, they are changing. We don't know what the final picture will be like, but Drashk has been on TC investigating stuff for us. It seems that damage has been boosted a little, although rated speed is now a bit worse than before. However, the jury hasn't even heard all the evidence yet, so it's way too early for a verdict.

Do we know if existing probots will be adjusted to the new stats ? I think a lot of people would be a bit miffed if they have to buy another probot.

No idea, Gribnitz... Although I do recall a devs saying something to the effect of "your probot will soon be much more powerful", but I just can't say for sure whether he was speaking of existing probots, or using it as a collective kind of term. :-/

Given their actions to date, no the old probots won't be updated. We'll just get the New and Improved Probot Mk III. Notice the pre-nerf probot stats didn't change, we just got a different probot. Same will happen again with this one if the devs follow the established patterns.

There's a chance, though no one can be certain how big of a chance, that your factory run of "pre-patch" Probot chassis will be problematic making "post-patch" Probots.

I plan to make a small run of ~25 or so fully constructed Advanced Probots prior to the patch just in case it turns out that the "post-patch" Probot isn't as desirable as the "pre-patch" version. Yeah, I know, the "post-patch" version is supposed to be an improvement, but SOE doesn't have a very good track record right now. Besides, even if I'm wrong, I sell cheaply enough that I'll be able to sell them anyway. The patch really doesn't sound like much of an improvement to me.

Thanks for the responses. I should have been clearer, I am only ready to go to chassis. I think I will do the 25 pre-patch option. Anyone know if the schematics are gonna change? This isn't nearly as pressing as taking full advantage of the Master Artisan skill I have. Plan on being a car salesman for a little under 3 days.

Sorry to disappoint you ElitrosFF, but the stats of the DL10 Probots that are hitting Live tomorrow are maxed out at

HAM 828100% Exerimentation Effectiveness
Speed 2.4
To Hit 0.22
Damage 70 - 80 (72 - 88)

This is the very best that I was able to get on TC.

This feels about right to me given that better combat droids might be on the way. I'll just drop the prices slightly on my pre-patch ones on the vendor(to cover the cost of materials) since the improvement isn't that great.I am assuming that there are nochanges in armor?

Tks in advance!

Ok, post patch... here are the 99% effective stats for an adv probot:

Difficulty Level: 10
HAM: 827
Attack Speed: 2.4
To Hit: 0.22
Damage: 70-80 (71-87)

Best regular probot I could get was in the high 80's for effectiveness:

Difficulty Level: 10
HAM: 817
Attack Speed: 2.45
To Hit: 0.21
Damage: 60-80 (69-84)
