Thread: SOE giving me Master status on TC
Five minutes ago I recieved an email from Kevin oHara stating that myself, and the other correspondents will be given special terminals for our profession on Test Center. While I am not to clear what these terminals are, I imagine they are methods for us to test the changes, etc to our profession. Hopefully they will give us resources..etc. I am sure they will at least give us skill in our profession.
So it looks like when this goes in I will at least have a chance to take a more proactive role in our profession. Now I get to spendfive hours a day instead of one ![]()
Anyhow, although a small victory I see this as a major win and a means for us to get our stuff thouroughly tested and examined.
I give that there are some people in SOE trying to make a better game..
i think those are the only two issues addressed supposedly on test center
Hmm...unless they plan on giving me 100k stacks of Ore, I don't see how me being on Test will amount to anything.
This is a great move on SOE's part to not only reward the correspondents, but to ensure someone familiar with game-breaking issues will be on there to make sure changes are addressing our concerns and working as intended. Doing this limited copy-over can enhance the test center without alienating those TC residents who have build from the ground up.
Kudos to Sintrosi! Kudos to SOE! ![]()
This is a very smart thing to do. Congrats Sintrosi (or should I also send condolences - hopefully you won't have to spend tons of time on TC). I wonder if the terminals might be to allow you to grant others access to the entire DE tree as well as materials in order to test things out. This is an alternate approach to having people mirror their characters onto TC, but maybe a smarter one (by having it controlled by the Correspondents).
Either way, this is a clear indication of positive things to come. Thanks dev's!
PS - Sintrosi, have fun in Mexico! It's a great spot.
Yeah, they had better give ya some nice duralloy steel, a ton of extrusive, a set of hoppers... lol
I think it is a good thing overall, but being a master isn't just about skill points. It is about having a customer base, a set of established contacts to both buy from and sell too...
Ah, well, it is a good step in the right direction.
Hope your main's business doesn't suffer too much.
Keep up the good work, Sintrosi.
I am hoping they will give us access via the terminals for all the materials and credits we need. It would simple to flag us so we cant trade anything and thus not destroy the TC economy.
I dont plan on doing any business on TC .. dont want to upset the economy for you DEs already on TC. I will train you guys for free though ... that is if I can.
