Thread: Is it possible to buy Micro Sensor Suites for a reasonable price ?
Hello all !
I was hoping to go DE and Smuggler and everything was fine...BUT I went blueprints 3 recently and realized that some droids need a Micro Sensor Suite which can only be produced by a Master Artisan...and I checked there is not enough skill points remaining for me tobecome MA.
So I wanted to ask if some of you DEmanage toeffectively run your business without being a master Artisan and if you can find easily Artisans who provide this kind of items at decent prices.
Thanks for all info.

Micro Sensor Suites take a total of 121 resources which includes the resources required by it's 3 sub-components. With the current factory bugs these are annoying to produce and micro sensor suites have their own little factory bug as they do not produce "cleanly." With the subcomponents and 4 resources the most you can load up the input hopper is for a 32 item run (32x3 in subcomponents plus 4 stacks of the resources). However, the factory will eventually stop at around 29-31 micro sensor suites with some resources and subcomponents left in the hopper and usually eating an extra GP module or two. The bug gets even weirder if you try to load up the hopper again for another run as it'll stop at a total lower than the previous run usually with even more stuff unused in the hopper including full sets of all required subcomponents and resources. Enough that more micro sensor suites should be able to get built but starting up the factory again won't build anymore (this is a totally unrelated bug to the current factory bugs limiting items). You can give up, change schematics and run off other stuff instead.
These are the most annoying things I've ever built bar none... The infamous architect power-cores have nothing on these things. I've made several hundred of these things in factories and I cringe at the thought of having to make more of them.
Due to the extreme annoyance factor and bugs in making these I wouldn't sell these to my own mother for less than 1k per item... A crate of 25 for no less than 25k.
Hello, I'd like to disagree with the statement that only 32 can be made at a time. I always make stacks of 99 micro sensor suites. They take memory and gp modules, they do not have to be exact replicas from a factory crate. You have to make 300 of them then during the scematic for the micro sensor suite take 1 of each of the 3 kinds, and put them in the scematic. Then put all 297 into the ingredient hopper with the rest of the materials. Poof 99 micro sensor suites.
I do agree that the factories are screwed. But his price was a little high but not much, since we would be selling to a potential competitor.
I'm a Droid Engineer who is well on his way to Master and who doesn't have Master Artisan. All I did was buy 100 of each of the items which I needed from a friendly Master Artisan with a Factory. There are plenty of Master Artisans in the game so finding one who will ask a fair price isn't that hard. It also helps if you are in a PA as the prices are much more favourable.
I've even come across vendors with crates of droid parts on them so I can't be the only one who does this type of thing. The trick is to keep your prices high on droids with lots of MA components (R2 ADV etc) so that you cover your costs. You may lose a few customers this way but that is the price of having enough points left over to be a Master CH at the same time! ![]()
Also, avoid selling BH droids as they really sting when you don't have MA yourself. Hopefully they will be changing the BH droids so I can make them without using MA components.
This may be more chancy than removing them first (crates have issues all of their own) but allows you to put a LOT more in the ingredient hopper.

That is my next move once they get factories working, I will stock up on micro sensor suites and the other componets. I need skill points bad but cant afford to give up MA until they fix the factories. I figure If I can stock up enough if I run out ofthem in the future maybe I will have enough money to buy them from people.
Yeah its possible to get them for a good price but it wont be easy.
Even if you supply a factory crate for the micro sensor suite's GP and Memory modules, The GP modules must have identical serial codes, as must the memory modues.
So the gp modules must be from a similar factory run, and the memory modules must be from a similar factory run.
This, I tested my last run of seeker droids. It stoppet at the end of the first crate of identical GP modules and never picked up the second, different serial code GP's from the other crate.
