Thread: Is there a secret Quest for DE
DE's,
I was wondering if you guys have a secret quest like the Armorsmiths RIS armor? I have found droid parts on Lok and Tattooine that are part of loot drops. Some from high level NPC's. I have found droid brains, GP modules, and memory modules. I am a former DE and tried to use them, they worked just fine. If anyone has any info please let me know.

One of the Friday features (or something similar) a while back made a big deal of some Droid Engineers cave that was full of Droidika and such. (probably on Lok)
A couple of people went to check it out but apparently its was a lot of hot air (most of the 'red dot' droids didnt even attack)
IIRC you can get (either by loot or reward) and Droidika blueprint, unfortunately because its not a schematic its of absolutely no use whatsoever
Please bear in mind I havent personally done any of this, this is just what I remember reading
The RIS guy is easy to find (if a little rude to non-armorsmiths), but I'm an MDE, and as such walking into caves full of red dots -- even if they're droids -- isn't something I make a habit of doing. So if there's a quest there, I can see some serious issues with expecting it to get done by anybody who cares.
For that matter, I'm not going back to Lok again at all until I have a vehicle fast enough to get me past the gazillion red things between Nym's and the Droidekas (or anyplace else on that godforsaken rock).
wouldn't that beat all, we have been yelling for Droideka this whole time and there bea quest to get yet we were to busy complaining to go out and find it.
If that were true someone would be gitting hurt bad! lol

What is IIRC? and where do you get the droideka blueprint?
I have done every cave on Lok, except the impossible one with the super AI agros. Some people call it the mad scientist lab. I got halfway through and got a computer hard drive.
I know you can get a droid brain and GP module from some guy on tattooine that was Aniken Skywalkers boyhood friend. He tells you that you can use it. I made a C3PO with it, nothing special.
The other loot was a memory module i got at a pirates cave on lok. It was not very difficult. The cool thing is that there is a slicer at a terminal, he ask you 3 questions, if you get them right, he unlocks the gate and you can loot a droid for the memory module. It will say you don't have permission, but look in your inventory it is there.
Anyway, I hope to get you some more info as time passes and I complete my quest of soloing every cave and battlefield in the game.

there is no blueprint, there is no quest.
and getting to the droid caves isnt hard, and everything there is pretty easy

You know this for a fact or are you speculating? I would like to think there are things in this game still left undiscovered.

as to where, I dont know, all the info I have was in my original post I'm afraid
i know for a fact is isnt in the game. people found out about RIS armor months before they even posted anything on the main page, by hacking the game code. If they found out we could get droidekas, don't you think it'd be common knowledge like the RIS armor?

It sounds like you are speaking of the schematic. That obviously doesn't exist. But what about the blueprint that has been mentioned. Where does that fall to be looted? I wouldnt mind getting my hands on one of those. Does it hang on the wall like a painting? or does it sit flat?
