Too bad they can't do something for us dolts that stuck with the pain for so long BEFORE every Commando and Creature Handler decides droid engineers are cool now and make one.

Anyone want to place a wager on the upsurge in the number of Droid Engineers that appear over night?

How did we get into this mess?I really don't know how. We seem to be made to suffer. It's our lot in life.

Ok maybe they will announce something cool today.

From experience i'd say it'll take two months at least till it's implemented and then it will be bugged for the next 2 months. Expect DE's to be useful sometime march next year.

i dunno, if the olans are gonna make us uber, then all the kiddies will imediately PL themselves to Master. Then in 4 months times when the we are still waiting for the changes they wouldve got bored.

Everyone remember the CH exploit that caused a huge surge in CH in the first place(the one with free, infinite exp)? Well, if the news is as good as many of us are hoping, I'm guessing a new surge of DE's about half the equivelant of that CH surge. Why only half? Some don't have the patience or money/resources to climb up the DE tree, which will limit the number of people ready to surge up there.

now, before you ready my tag, my second char has been on the path to DE for 2 weeks now...

and I'm making the grind to DE because my guild needs one, not because i have delusions of grandure. but IMHO i dont think you see many CH and Commandos dropping and running over here. the sheer magnitude of grind is in a word mind-numbing.

those guys want to be able to do it now... fast.... the instant gratification syndrome.

the path to DE is just about as far from instant gratification as youcan get

but those are my two cents

I expect approximately 4 to 6 new DEs to appear overnight, with approximately 23to 42during the following day, and an additional 13 to 18 every day for the week after that.

Since the new plan isjust a re-typing of DE's wishlist with no definite times, or schedules my guess would be very few.

I now state firmly: At best, 0. At worst, -300.

Overall Im very happy about the plan, but I dont think its enough to cause a mass influx of DE's

When they make a combat droid that can tank and kill as well as good CH pets then you will see the mass influx of DEs. Until then no one will join the ranks.

Personally I think that a Master DE combat droid should be equal to a high level CH pet if not better because all the grinding that has to be done.

A few new DEs will appear, but more will leave.
