After well over 1,000 droid sales since I kept count I'm giving up Master Droid Engineer after working towards it since day 1. I'm not leaving the game, but I've just given up on DE after months of nerfs, broken promises, and just plain broken profession. The 'new low and mid level combat droids' in Jan/Feb I have no hope in. I cannot believe a word when there are plenty of things that could have easily been done sooner and easier right now.

I have made money being one of the larger dealers on Bloodfin, but I could have easily made ten times that being a Weaponsmith, Armorsmith or even dealing Medical supplies. It's been fun guys, maybe I'll return to the profession someday unless between now and next week in doing my last orders I decide to hang on a little longer.

Don't give up yet, we might finally get something in the next publish...WE were actually mentioned as the "most broken profession". Don't lose all hope yet, just play another char on another server to tide yourself over.

I would agree on not giving up quite yet. Push for at least one fix of anything DE related on TC. After we see what's going onto TC, make the decision then. I do not hold much hope that they will actually fulfill a promise this time, but accidents do happen.

The change to TC should be happening relatively soon if they plan to do a publish around mid-December. Take a look at your options then. But, try to be active on the forums and reminding them that they need to perform some sort of action to restore any level of trust in them.

Yes, I'm going to spend a bit of time on Test Center myself before the December publish. I have finally gotten automated enough to the point where I DON'T need to spend 45 minutes in my shop every morning to craft replacements, and can get by with just opening crates and listing items... Just in time to try and level up an artisan on TC.

I... don't know if we should be glad for that news (because we might get things fixed now) or that it just goes to show how little the devs care about our profession.

True Rho, Now that the vendors sell for 30 days instead of 7, I've been able to relax a bit and stock up for weeks at a time on my vendors. Time to see the sites, or run on the TC.

DE's have hope yet, though I guess Im an optimist at heart I think there has to be some truth to this "fixing the DE's" thing ...

Without hope, we DE's would truely have nothing ...

I might not make many droid's, infact I think I've made one a Weapon Crafting Droid Stationfor myself. I'm still keeping DE with the thoughts and hopes of seeing.

Yes, our profession does suck, but don't give up. I reccomend going out and making a new character. Trust me, its kinda nice to be the n00b in town again...
