Thread: (DEA) Working to get a DENet running on all servers: 'Admins' announce yourselves, please.

Heya, folks...
I need anyone that's working on this to come back to this thread and let me know if there IS a DEnet (or something similar) on your server.
If so, please try to get me info on the admin for that server, so that Woodrow and I can have an idea of who we need to work with to help build the association.
So, if you run a list or have gotten onto one, please come back and let me know:

DENet admin contact:
As soon as I can get enough servers that are up and running, we can start an official DENet server/admin registry for the DE forums and hopefully get it stickied (along with some other info that I'm starting to build).

I'm getting to it. Just trying to do my rounds and go through about 1200 posts since yesterday afternoon and still squeeze in some game time.

Drashk,
Don't worry about this yet. I want to get the list more complete before we make this more official.
I just need the people interested in leading DENet chapters on their server to step up and announce. Once we have that list in place, it will make coordinating larger DEA events much, MUCH easier.

I'll sticky this to the top for a few days to help get some more feed back. When you have the 'offical' list just send me a link and I'll add it to the DEA listing.

No one on Chilastra? But when I think about it I've never heard anything about a DEA on Chilastra.

I don't have a confirmed contact/admin on Chilastra yet. If anyone knows of an admin that's running a list, let me know and I'll update it above.

I've been a DE on Chilastra for quite some time, but haven't heard of anything going on like this. I tend to be a bit of a loner 
If we can't find anyone on Chilastra feel free to send me a PM and I'll see what I can do. My time is somewhat limited, but this could be a cool thing.

The most important thing in building up a server DENet type thing is just building the list. Get ANYone to start collecting the info...

Once there's a decent list going, the 'members' can coordinate to see who wants to run it and such.
As always, TheWoody and I would be glad to offer help on our experiences in best running things in-game. It's not too hard or time-consuming.

Well I know there isn't one on Shadowfire, but I'd be willing to get one going if anyone else on that server is interested. So far the few DE's I've spoken to are relatively loners with no interest beyond their business.

I'm almost positive that there is no such thing on Bria, and very little interest in establishing one. All the old timers like their independence and barely even discuss resources, let alone pricing or anything else. Maybe directly ping Kenner (EricTheGreat login name on the forums) and see if he knows of one, but I doubt it.

Thanks for the info. Just do some checking with the DEs know you can find and see what's up a bit. It may be that there's already something forming now.
And...as for the practical benefits of being in a DENet...
Remind the loners that they can get very fast resource spawn info (and hopefully provide it) such that they will have a MUCH easier time getting good resources without having to survey forever. That alone is a huge benefit to DENet people. There's also a ton of other good reasons why it works and how it can make all DE's lives better.
