Thread: Time to raise prices everyone (in my opinion)

hey all...Im not trying to tell anyone what to do here. However on my server and another one I play I notice DE still selling their goods far below what they could get. I think its time DE everywhere rethink their prices. Why...


1. There are less of us, heck less of everyone so less items means more demand. I know many who left or stopped playing since the CU. Rpeatedly I hear the same thing from my customers, they're just so glad I actually have items in stock after visiting numerous vendors.


2. CU has created a largedemandfor combat droids and BH droids and others. I have my seekers priced at 10k per crate, probes at 15k, probot advanced at 150k and I cant keep them in stock. Im probably going to go 15k and 20k on the BH droids and leave the probot alone for now. I make crummy mse bomb droids with 30 det power and sell them fast for 15k each (singles) while others sell them for much less with better stats. The stimpack droid is my biggest seller. I have to inform peeps what it does but after they quickly buy em out.


3. No decay means we must charge more. Quite simple really.


Im not sure how the other DE are doing but my business is booming. In fact too much really, I just like droids for fun but its becoming a full-time occupation. Anyway, i think we all deserve more credits for what we do.

BH droids are the only thing selling for me since the CU. I raised the prices on them a little, but as far as other droids, not a chance till they start selling on a consistant basis.

I'm selling Seekers and Arakyd's for 35,000 a crate. They sell like hot cakes. My 8 factories are going 24/7 with BH droids and GP and Memory modules.

Since this became SWG - The BH/Jedi wars I just cant seem to keep up with BH droid sales


So up the price goes (since thats the only good thing to come out of the recent patch I think I shall take full advantage of it)

Expect BH sales to drop off some after the respec ends. Right now a lot of people are messing around with BH, but they probably wont stay that.


Don't get me wrong, there will certainly be more BH's after the CU then before, just not as many as currently.

I actually had more orders for combat droids now from professional crafters. I made 2 for myself, and started giving a couple to friends who are the same way. I'm now getting e-mails for more of them, and I have barely started production.


Of course, I have to keep at least 1 dedicated factory for BH droids. I made a nice stockpile of them before selling, so 1 factory can keep up with demand.

I completly sold out of Seeker in about 24 hours after the CU went live. Ever since then I have been trying to find the resources to make more. With the vendor search requiring all items be pulled before they post properly, many Tempest resource hunters ahve not bothered or have not logged on to do this.


A descent polymer finally spawned andI have a bunch of harvestor up right now getting it. I hope to have both BH droid up and read to go in a bout a week due to factory time.


isn't theCU great? I just love having to deal with bugs running around everywhere

I must be the only DE on Bloodfin. Arakyd probes--->40K /Seekers--->26K. 3 factories running (one exclusivly for GP's). Over 3 mill in sales in the last 3 days.

I'm on Valcyn and selling Seekers for 1500 and Arakyds for 5k. I think that my prices are on the low end of the server, but not too out-of-line with the other DEs that I know.
