Sorry...a sarcastic comment was brewing...it had to go somewhere. Better here than in my board meeting 15 minutes from now.

On a serious note, Adv BLL's with medical (110 rated), food/chem crafting and 10 item storage modules sell well on my server, even at 70-100k each. Those doctors who want something different seem to like them. Test the waters on your server with one or two. See waht happens.

Oh...almost forgot...merchant/maintenance versions also sell. I guess people like having 3 meter tall droid stomping around theed, spamming their wares

yup. they are good for professions that need to advertise or draw attention to themselves while at the starport because of their immense size. they otherwise serve no useful purpose.

They also make great Dancing Droids!!

I will be eternally grateful to the person who put up the dancing BLL at our last DEA meeting.

I read through the stickys and didnt find the specific purpose of this droid. does it have a specific purpose or is it just a general droid

Nope....not inherent purpose for a BLL.

I use mine for schematic storage, item storage and as my Merchant Barker.

This thread covers all the information that you would be looking for.

The BLL, like most of the other droids that can currently be built, does not have a specific purpose at this time.

I'm trying a new format, to include the Droid Engineering 101 thread.

I'm trying out a few different set ups on the sig still

I dont know about the BLL, but the Advance BLLDOES have a dualpurpose. One, to waste copious quantities of steel, fiberplast and expensive subcomponets and two, just so the carfter can say "This POS only takes ONE general purpose socket??"

Something to think about is that some people do have a lot of money. They are 100% willing to buy a med or storage droid that is a BLL. Even if it costs them 100k.
