I believe it was shown in the SWG Newsletter back in March. Haven't heard mention of it since. Anyone have a clue?

*cough* Droid Commander droid *cough*
I believe it was one of the art assests that was created in preparation of the Droid Commander profession. I could be completely wrong though.....

Not much info was given, but I remember speculation that it was to be a looted schematic found in the Geonosian Caves,or the Corvette, and then when that didn't happen, in the Deathwatch Bunker. Who knows? We may still see it someday. The image of that droid always cracked me up.

That would rock seeing its turret poking out of the droid socket on my X-wing, maybe it could shoot in space?

Am i the only one who thinks that this is one really ugly droid and a perversion of the Astromech?
BTW: I dont think any sane engineer would invent a combat droid withthe moving potential of an r-unit.

I hate that thing, i'd be happy if we didnt get that sorry piece of crap faux Astromech, nomatter how good it is.

As far as I know it is a MOB in the Deathwatch Bunker. I think I remember seeing it in there.

its in the death watch bunker (I go on weekly raids there)I have seen it once or twice when tabing through MOB's but never tried to attack it since its in a spotour strike teamnever needs to go.

Yeah shame that - personally I thought that any R-series that had combat modules installed should have had its head skin changed to look like the Blastomech

I dont 'dislike it' - to be fair I rarely get to see it since the MOB tends to be sat ontop of the poor thing, but let me put it another way, between a puny little buz saw and a turret head blasting away which would you rather see?
