Thread: Next DEA InterServer Meeting!
It's coming up on that time again. The next DEA meeting (5th Ahazi one, 2nd interserver) will be next Sunday, the first sunday of December.
Due to ease of convenience, the time and location will probably not change from 8 EST, 5 PST on Vreni island. If it does I'll post the details here.
It'll be another gala affair with lots of interesting speeches (well, at least I thought they were interesting speeches... course I'm biased on that) as well as being able to bump elbows with various DEs from all across the different servers. If you missed the last one, you'll really want to make this one as it should be bigger and better than before. We saw 50+ people in the last one (with no lag) and hope to get higher this time round. We also won't be hosting another one til January, so now is the best time to see what it's all about.
We (should) have some news on possible DEA expansions as well, but I'm not releasing any details on that until the actual meeting. So (if everything goes right) be prepared for something very exciting.
Alright. That should do it. If you want to give a speech (and we love people wo do) then write me an email saying what you'd like to speak about. I'll then try and work you into the schedule.

(FWIW, one of the town smugglers got me to make a heap for him so he could grind XP. Got a couple of really nice ones at 35/80 dmg. WIth a 33/16% dmg powerup, that's a nice weapon

I plan to be there. Some of the DE's on Flurry have begun the process of starting our own DEA. Even set up our own chat channel.
Woody, the first meeting was just great. I really learned a lot and was encouraged. I would recommend two things for this meeting. 1) if possible publish a list of topics or Agenda - It helps to think about it ahead. 2) Try and get a roster while there of DE's, names and servers. It might help future communications.

The official Agenda will be posted tomorrow. Usually Wednesday is usually a good day to post it as things are getting finalised by then.
To let you know though, We're looking at a fairly decent turnout for things. There'll also be a few surprises and a mention of some things that are happening in the next few weeks with the DEA and how it (could) affect everyone. Don't worry, it's good stuff.
Also hoping to have a surprise for everyone, but don't get your hopes up yet.
Again, the place is server Ahazi, Vreni Island, Corellia. The day is Sunday, 8 December. The time is 8 p.m. EST / 5 PST. We'll have a chat channel open for the event again called "SWG.Ahazi.Chat.DEA" in which the official speeches will be held. If you can't make the meeting (though we desperately want you to be there) you can at least tune in to this channel to hear the official speeches. You won't get the rebuttals and comments from the audience, but the main stuff will go out on that.

(Oh, and I tried to get a roster last time via several different methods, but sadly they all failed. Too much stuff for myself to manage. If anyone else is willing to write up a list once the meeting starts it'd be well appreciated. Just contact me and I'll assist you with setting you in place to get all the names)
