Thread: Anyone else have trouble keeping up?
When the patch hit live I had ~300 crates total of Arakyds and seekers across 3 vendors. 2 Vendors were nearly completely emptied within the first day and I had to dip into the emergency stock of Arakyds (I was totally out of seekers across all vendors and had no emergency stock due to the old bug ...)
By Saturday night I was looking at maybe 50 crates of Arakyds across the 3 vendors and waiting on EMM's and EGP's to finish. These were all still the old crates of 5 (but upgraded charges when removed from crate) that I was still selling at 12K a pop.
Anyone else have trouble keeping up with the exponentialy increased demand since the patch? (I have 12 factories currently running making massive amounts to try and keep them stocked now)

I thought I was prepared for it too. I mean 300 crates in total, that should be enough shouldn't it? Well apparently I underestimeted 1 of 2 things.
- My popularity for being a DE with stocked vendors
- The amount of people who were going to run these new missions
My other droid sales have increased about2 fold as well righ tnow (not that I really have other droids to sell on the vendor that work...) Combat droids are very popular right now that help said BH beat up those hard Double Elite marks as well as droid stims to help heal their droid during battle.
This morning when I left there was 4 factories running final assembly on full runs of Seekers and Arakyds (2 factory runs of seekers and 2 of Arakyds). I forget the factory time on them, but I should have a nice bit of stock when I get home in 4 hours.

I just wanted to put my POV, and as usual I did. I remain convinced it encourages JediWars..but each to their own view of that, and indeed whether JediWars is a good or a bad thing for the game.
By all means make your credits while you can..for myself I can't be bothered to even make BH Droids but again it's a matter of personal choice.
I agree that it encourages it, but hey, what are we gonna do about it anyway? The system is as its been designed, like it or not. And at the moment, BH droids, Astromechs, and a probot or two every so often is about all we have that sells any more.

Or works .... apart from us few lucky ones ..

So let me get this straight guys
There's a fire consuming SWG in the form of every man and his dog having a glowstick very soon
There's a massive amount of BH out there making said Glowstick Players lives more fun and enjoyable, thus encouraging more and more the Glowstick 'culture'
And you guys are deciding to pump more gasoline??
Well that will sure fix it --not
Yeah I know...you are merely taking advantage of an economic opportunity!?!!??
Well..that makes it alright then..doesn't it /sigh

Nope - I think you'll find the sales going through the roof are due to the fact that BH (myself included) are now going after the sometimes-lovely NPC loot that is dropping from the new boss marks.
Yes its taking advantage of an economic oppo, but not to try and stem the unyielding tide of Jerdeye - droid engineers are not King Canute. Lets face it, atm we NEED something to make money from - do you know how expensive it is to look as good as me?
Theres a huge demand atm for BH droids. Reason: They are doing NPC missions that are getting the all the +15 jedi tapes. They then turn around and sell those tapes for millions. Some of the +15 tapes go for 30 million plus.
So if you want to bump your prices to fit the demand I think you should do so.
