Thread: Any clarifications on our Droid Update from yesterday ??

I looked through the TH post on the Droid direction, but didn't see any RED name addressing questions about his post.

Is the repair kit for black wound baror white health bar?? Never clarified ?? It would be aweful if they don't answer this and throw in a wound repair kit for us.

Are there new body styles of droids coming out to stack the combat modules into?? (I still hate thinking of R2 with a blaster).

Anything about our other issues like being able to store more droids in datapad as a DE so we can show what we make? What about 2 droids out as a DE ?

Advanced Droid Frames for the ones missing ?

Just a few questions in case I missed some breaking news.

Folks,

It is going to take us some time to compile and disseminate your requested info. The devs are hard at work right now, and TH is about to take a bit of a (well earned) break. We wanted to get this info out to you, and we are reading your responses (I lurk here alot during this time), but honestly we don't have the bandwidth to go back and answer everything at this moment. Please be patient, and thanks so much for the feedback.

best,

G,

Thanks for the head's up.

Just do your best to address most of the oft-requested issues so that we can help to temper the discussion and move forward on our discussion threads.

I'm still VERY excited by what I've seen...and really hope that we can help you all to knock this 'out of the park'.

Yeah, and I at least understand that with 32 professions and thousands of posts to you devs to answer a question immediately, even if your job was just to answer questions you couldn't cover the entire forums every day.

Your job is to develop, not to answer every little question. And I have no issue with you doing your job. As for my questions, I'll get the answers next publish. As for the broken stuff, if it gets fixed good. If not, I'm not overly worried about it.

YES!

From the info that I just read in the Correspondents forum there will actually be two repair kits. One will be for Wounds and one will be for Damage.

Intriguing.

Drashk, if you can, please try to find out if these kits will be DE-only or usable by anyone?

Also, what about the redundancy of Droid Repair Modules and black-bar wound-healing kits? Are there any thoughts on that?

Not going to be able to find out much info while TH is on his, much deserved, vacation.

My guess is that is that the Wound repair packs will be like the Medic varity, where as the Droid Repair Module will be the fix all.

Further clarification for those of us (like me ) who have never used a Medic whatever would be nice
