It sure would be nice to hear about some of the up-coming DE changes; or get some Test Center action.

I'm ready for some reasons to keep playing this game. Been feeling the burn out effect and the holidays haven't helped. Been AFK from the game and haven't missed it much. This isn't a "threatening to quit" thread; its a "need more reasons to play" thread. How about droideka? Thanks.

At a minimum, I can tell you that the knowledge base questions concerning droids was cleaned up and all discrepencies removed from it. Hope that helps a bit.

The DEV front has been really quite since Christmas Eve.I haven't seen many of the SOE staff on TC, that I normally see on a daily basis,all weekend long. I'm guessing that it will be pretty quite until after the 5th of January, but thats just a hunch.

When you launch SOE it tells you that the majority of them are on holiday until after the 5th. I doubt anything with be forthcoming until after that time.

Heh. You know you're approaching burn out when speculation threads no longer interest you. I'd be really into an entertainment droid with a bass drum stomach; it's just not gonna happen so what's the point.

Hehe... rumors I've heard involved two existing framework droids that are in the game but DEs can't make with one of them needing special drops to make... ooppss... did I say to much?

Rumors only though.

Yeah, I've assumed this all along; everyone deserves a break, of course. The January patch, assuming there is one, is gonna be close to to Feb. Bummer.

Oh, great... the crafting class that has no pts for combat if you take MA would have to wander around on Lok if that were the case...

If DEs have to hunt around the Known Galaxy for "dropped" components to make Droidekas...andNOT be able to actually use them (RIS Armor, anyone?), then it'll be a sad state of affairs indeed.

The RIS quest is probably the only reason I am an armorsmith today. It gave me a goal as a crafting class, and was a challange (still looking for oridium intrusive ore)...

I think idea's of this nature have merit in a game environment. Lets just hope that the main stay of the new droids (our composite armor) is just as potent as our fun quest stuff.
