Thread: tolium, and the Resource Chip
1) Yes, you set the name of what you want to spawn. But I would rethink of using it for Tolium, although it is our most expensive resource, it is not the most expensive in the galaxy. On Kettemoor, the best Tolium sells for ~15 cpu, once our resident Medical Supplier starts to bid. Whereas the Organics start to sell at 10cpu for grind quality, and go up depending on quality.
So my suggestion is sell the deed for a few million, then you can buy more than 30k Tolium from the money you just got from the sale of the deed.
2) I have had no complaints about Bomb Droids, even when the CU first came live. That and I have not seen any complaints here since the devs fixed them.
That 600 tollium, awesome copper,and awesome gas make 37 and 53 power det droids. I have some of the 800 and it doesnt go much higher.
The best tollium on bloodfin was 989 oq really good stuff. Bought 600k units of it for 5cpu the other day! The spawn is at least 5-6 months old.
i make 39 det bombers with it.
I had to take a break from DE i was just to frustrated with the simplification.

Just a reminder (for all those that MAY not know)....
You have to know the specific name of the resource that you want to use the Resouce Chip. The best referencethat lists the resource names (that I know of) is swgcraft.com. To find the best resource to use your Resource Chip for, consider the following:
- Go to www.swgcraft.com
- Click on FIND RESOURCES on the left pane.
- Change the server to your gaming server.
- NOTE!: Change the SEARCH BY to MINIMUM VALUES (otherwise it'll search wrong and you'll be disappointed).
- Put in the OQ box whatever minimum value you're looking for.
- Click FIND RESOURCE.
- NOTE!: You will only be able to view 1 page of results if you're not a swgcraft.com member, so if you don't find any good stuff you're looking for - create an account (its free) and login and rinse and repeat.
The Resource Chip can be used to "conjur" up and resource, current or in the past,that has spawned on your server. The best Tolium on Valcyn spawned over a year ago and I used on of my Resource Chips to get the 30k of it. Time isn't an issue here. Ironically, the resource is named Macho - I found that funny that a DE needed more Macho to get the job done.

I myself finally broke down and used mine for tolium because I couldn't find any worth anything on eclipse. Well that's not entirely true. I searched all vendors over the bazaar and only came up with crap... except one! 
One guy/girl had a stock of tolium for, of course, 99999999. It was 1000OQ! *slightly drools at the thought* I think it's only there to taunt us DE's. If I had the 100 million I would have bought it just to prove a point. lol Anyway, that is how I found out that at some point in the past 2 years eclipse has had this stuff. So after finding that out I couldn't resist getting my hands on some of it. I got mine then bought another chip and got 30k more. Now I am just holding it and running my hands over the container and saying stuff like, "My precious". I'll have to break down and eventually make a det mod "worthy of the Gods". ( as a sorta grumpy fellow might have said at one time ) I just think the uber jedi's will have to live for awhile cause it will take some time before I can come off this stuff!
PS There is 1000 Adv. R3s and Probots with maxed out health and armor waiting in my shop for any sneaky DE that tries to steal it! lol Maybe even a couple cranky Le Repairs also... with fricking lasers on there heads!
