With the proposed publish 20, BH missions will only pay out avg 50k.... now tell me, will a BH go and buy and ADV R3 bomb droid to aid in one these, no, the cost won't be worth it anymore, one of our only means of making money will take a HUGE hit.
Not 100% sure how this can be adressed, but how about keep BH mission payout's 100k ish?
Make the cost of making Bomb droids (good ones anyway) alot lower.
Your thoughts?
The pay out only lists as 44k+. The mission still pays out what it currently does on Live. The reason the missions are listed as 44k+ is so that a BH can't tell what they are hunting by the price tag.
The only thing that has really changed is that the BH will actually need to do a bit of 'hunting' now.

- Search the terminals for the payout in the range you want.
- Use your friends list to verify if your Mark is online.
- Visit Spynet Op.
- Launch Probe. If they are on Kash, either go looking or return to #1.
- Use Seekers to find your mark.
- Fight your mark, since you knew the level of the Jedi, you get the fight you expected.
After publish 20, it will change to this.
- Search the terminals for a Jedi not of your faction. Only online Jedi are shown.
- Visit spynet OP.
- Launch Probe, if they are on Kash, you don't have a name, so you can't go looking. So return to #1.
- Use Seekers to find your mark.
- Fight your mark, quite often, this may be a fully templated Jedi and you will die fighting him solo.
Now on the surface, the fact that you can't hunt for your Mark name wise on Kash may make it look like people going back to step #1 will lead to more probes sold. It may, but this is countered by two other facts.
- Only Master Bounty Hunters can hunt Jedi now, not people with just 3000 BH. This leads to less template diversity and less hunters overall.
- Since many Jedi "leveling" will be on Kash and safe, most Jedi who are huntable will be full templates. These are very hard marks and are less likely to lead to a payoff. Less payoffs mean BH's will be less likely to pay out money for Probes, Seekers, and Bomb droids if they don't think there is a decent chance to get that money back.
For the record, I am 100% for the terminal changes, except there needs to be a way to hunt on Kash. I am against the move of Jedi missions to MBH, simply because with the terminal changes, it is not needed.

I don't believe it will hurt sells in the least, Although only MBH will be able to hunt jedi and everyone assumes that all the jedi will be full templete, that will not be the case. How many time have you seen a new jedi showing of his or her stuff on mos eisley to there friends. I see it all the time. I am a DE and a BH (although not a MBH - which now I will get) and i am not worried about it. Also, people think that with the pay outs changing and not being able to see how much the bonus, if any, is, will an incentive to not take a mission, I take the missions because that is what I like to do, the money is just a perk. Also, people, remember, that 44k for and hour of work is a lot of money.
Also, even if there is a decrease in the sales of seekers and probes, there may be a sell in combat droids. BHs may start using them to help take down the mark. All of the current BHs I know don't use droids, they all go solo, this may change when they realize that they will need help. Heck, I normally send my Probot or R4 into attack the target and sit back and watch if I don't have to help. More like entertainment for me that way.

Here is the problem. All of those Jedi that you see showing off at the Starports are either full templated Jedi or ones that are on the boards anyway. With the new system, group members will not generate visibility, meaning people who are carefull can hunt in a group, and never get on the boards. This means that there will be far less Jedi on the boards with incomplete templates.
44k for an hour of work is a lot of money? I seriously hope that you are kidding. Running regular missions or quests totally solo, I can make well over 100k an hour, give me a few group members and I can easily make close to 200k+ an hour. Then you need to figure that I can loot an CA or AA that will sell for 50 million or more even.
44k an hour is chump change by todays economical standards. People who chase those low level missions were not doing it for an easy 30 or 40k, they ere doing it because the prey was easy.
