Ok, the time is almost here, so time to get some planning done. First off, I've split our testing up into a couple different sections, with (eventually) one member of the CU alpha team in charge of each section. I'll be including info on some focus tests I need help on once things get rolling, and this is the place to report any droid issues (as well as the appropriate in testing/development threads).
Some CU info
Testing Sections:
Support (Stimpack dispensors, Medical Module, Trapping Modules): psikobunny
Damage Dealing: Straker_Atrella/TheRealTK421
Tanking ability: JavelinCatcher
Droid AI: RasalTheWise
If anyone has any suggestions for other categories, let me know.

Hey TK, my Cable is down right now, and my Schedule is a little flaky, so if you want to pard with me that is cool.

It's no big rush TK there's a whole lot of not much to do crafting wise in this first phase anyway.
We're all just sorta knocking around beating on things. I'm sure you can find something to interest ya,
and FWW im not a "my cookie!" kinda guy, so if there's something you wanna tinker with under the
Support category, feel free.
Aside: a benefit to this phase is we can get a good guage of how weak the pure crafters will be, and also,
knowing how fast we go down will help us guage how fast our droids go down.
Aside2: As DEs I think we can save time if 1-2 of us focus on getting master artisan for the electronics,
then supply them to the others. Or, maybe we can contact Guruweaver? work out a schema deal?
Unless the artisans need people to run a tests onPool costs for Survey I'd rather not monkey with it,
and divide the labor/setup/factory time.
Day1 report- Like I said did some knocking about with a CDEF rifle and some people. A group of two last night,
and a group of 8 this morning. My feeling that Bodyguard droids will come in immensely handy is still with me.
I imagine a 3k health probot with reists, and I compare it to my unarmored 1khealth, and I get a warm feeling...

No problem...I'll help with Damage testing.

I'll also be able to assist with factory/module/chassis runs. I suggest we set up large runs of most everything so that we can quickly make whatever we need to test (and get droids out to the 'common' men/women).

Sounds good. Resources are still unavailable on the frogs, but structures are. So its probably time to find a good base of operations.

Check with Pappi to find out where the CU 'crafter city' might go...we'll want a central base of operations.

I'm "Rasal" on the TC. I even managed to snag a front line house south of coronet for a droid shop once they open up the elite professions.
So here's my brainstorming on testing combat-related droid AI (this is a work in progress, so suggestions are welcome):
1) "Attack" Command - Does the droid successfully attack an opponent when commanded to? Can the droid switch targets in the middle of battle? Can the droid switch from a previous commands (like guard or patrol) to attack and vice versa? Is there more than one Attack type to choose from, and can the user change it at will?
2) "Guard" Command - Does the droids successfully defend the user when user is being attacked? Can the droid succesfully switch to other commands and back to guard?
3) Fighting AI - Does the droid use ranged/melee attacks, when appropriate, by itself? Does the droid run when low on health? Does the droid run when unable to attack (no combat module installed)?
4) /tellpet Commands - Does the droid successfully execute /tellpet commands just like Spacial commands?
I'll throw more up here as I think about it.

When I can get in (got caught by the cap last night), I'll focus on...err...
Whatever I find, I guess.

OK, found something that could potentially affect us DE's. As novice medic I was able to use the /healwound command anywhere and without a med droid. I did put this in the TC bug thread.
