Not the module, the compartment. Pardon my newbiness but does it have any utility other than furnature?

What experimentation (Artisan or DE) is used in the Droid Storage Compartment subcombine (Novice DE?) I am an architect and need qood quality ones for my Crafting Stations and need to know if I should look for a novice or master DE to help me make these?

There is expermintation when making the compartments, but I never talked to anyone who used them for crafting stations and what the out come was. As known the higher you are in the DE tree the more exper. pts you get.

ok, so its DE experimentation not artisan, thanks.. answers my question. Must find a master DE on Sunrunner then.

It makes me wonder, though, if experimentation makes any difference on it. Reason being is the component doesn't have a rating or anything.

The Experimentation percentage on the DSCs makes a considerable difference. Using 100% Effectiveness Experimentation DSCs is the only way that you can produce the highest rated Personal Crafting Station, with a rating of 45.00. On average, a 75% DSC will raise the Rating ona PCS by 5-10 points, depending on the quality of the Control Units, Micro Sensors, and Conductive Metals used.

But again the question remains, how do you know what you're getting from a DE is high quality on those storage modules? As a matter of fact, if you make several of them, there's no way to know their quality without you putting something in the name.
Sorry if this seems a stupid question..I just became Novice DE a few minutes ago. haha

Perfectly reasonable question.
The truth is you don't know unless the DE had the foresight to put the number in the name, but they you're stuck in the same position as with swoops. You don't know if the DE was being honest until you put it in the sucker and take a whack at it.
Best I've been able to make are 98%, as I'm capped by my resources, with 986 CD copper. I'd be really curious as to what Archs are willing to pay for these actually, as I have crateloads on my vendor and they don't move for nothin.
The rating, however, does make a difference. My friend on Flurry experimented with this and mastered DE just so he could make better crafting stations, and there was a VERY noticeable difference. Like 25-30 vs. 35-40.
Unless you're a master then you won't be able to get these to their max. Or, you could just to the experimentation line in DE and get a +20 droid experimentation tape to give you 10 points, which is sadly all you'll need, as 10 points seems to be the max you can spend on 1 line.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this please? I read that Droid Storage Compartment requires Metals that needs OQ & Con. Would it be 'bad' if the resources does not fulfil that? Ie. will 10%droid storage compartmentsaffect the finished items (ie. vehicle customisation kits)??

Low experimentation on DSC's don't affect the quality of droid or vehicle paint kits. However, most architects I've dealt with swear up and down that it *does* affect the outcome of their crafting stations. So I'm more than happy to accommodate them.
