Thread: Vet DE's can keep their DE titles

Master Droid Engineer for the life Zeno'ee... however long that is.


The only time this title has been changed or taken off has been when I am doing MUCH needed factory runs and resource collecting from harvesters and haven't the time to discuss droids. Those has been less than a half dozen times since the title was aquired over a year ago.

Interesting note from the FAQ (in case you didn't already see it):

How will the existing titles on my character window be affected?

Veterans will maintain the ability to display any title they have earned over their SWG career. New characters that enter the galaxy will only have access to the titles supported by the nine new iconic professions.

I hate to sound superficial, but that makes me feel good.

I'll wear mine in defiant pride. Droid Engineer Pride parade.

Though what's going to happen as new players come in to the game is they will see your tag and immediately have 2 questions: What is a Droid Engineer? How do I become one? Answers: a dead profession; no you can't.

I will be keeping my Master DE title , it may be a small thing, but to me the title means a lot. If you think DE's are a rare sight now, imagine what they will be like in 1 years time .

Would you folks be insulted if I went the grind route over then next 2 weeks to get my 3/3/1/4 to Master?


I startedmy second account specifically to make droids, and I'll be damned if I don't wear that Tag forever after.

Sweet, I have only changed my title twice. I have been a proud MDE since I trained the Master Box with my Apprentice XP. I have never been afraid to show it off.

So, if I was a MDE on my main toon, but then went jedi, will i still get the MDE tag to wear? I can't wear it currently

I dont think so. I guess they will only keep the titles you can chose from now...

But that is no problem if you respec back to DE with your main/alt, since the titles for the crafting professions are still there.
