Thread: Vehicles confirmed as Master Artisan items
Finally a benefit of having to take Master Artisan to be a DE
Thank goodness!
The MA schematics as they're in the game noware pretty limited, in all reality.
This is great news for those of us that are DE's and have all those resources lying around in hopes that Droids get fixed.
I already have a lucrative business with my droids but I cant wait to open up my vehicle vendor to pump things up.
(And for those of you that are pessimists and think us Master Artisans will gouge people, my bikes will sell for around 7k and my speeders for around 10k unless they change the componet requirements.)
Wooohooo.
This is good to hear, very good indeed. Now we won't have every Pre-Teen powercrafting just to get to Engy 4.
Bravo SOE!
I feel your pain, took me almost 2 weeks get the MA App points.
I hate App points! Thankfully I don't ever have to do them again.
Any ideaTH when this suppose to go live? I've read numerous posts and haven't seen a date yet. Thanks for the update and the good news.

My only problem is, I have everything to get MA, except 250 apprnetice points. This is a new character and basically all he has to teach is the artisan skills and one or two boxes of one hand sword. It could take a while to find enough students for them, or to learn something else that people really want.
I got my app points the old fashioned way, mostly because I started when the game went public & leveled up at the same time as most everyone else. Nowadays it's really hard to get app points (as it should be), but there's a quick & easy way to get them before vehicles go live.
Find a friend who can get Novice Artisan and then have them grind Domestic Arts 1. Teach it to them and then have them surrender the skill. Do this over & over until you have your apprenticeship points.

The easiest way is to find all those grinding to Eng IV (or Master Artisan) and train them, I got over 650 app points int just 3 days on the Test Center, everyone was trying to get to Eng IV to make vehicles (admittedly the vendors weren't around at the time), there were lots of players needing training. I expected it to take me ages, so go to your local city's crafting stations, don't spam, but when someone asks for training tell them you can do it. You shouldn't find it taking too long to get your 250 app points. If you've got theresources, continue grinding your way to whatever profession you character is going for.

Actually the components requirement have been changed... They have been increased in a x10 basis.
Getting APXP is really tough. Fortunately I have nice PA members who gave up Surveying IV repeatedly for me. Standing in front of the Artisan Trainer in Bestine with an Elite Title (Novice Droid Engineer is enough) helps, too. When I got desperate (100 XP missing) I started to yell 'Training all Artisan skills for free' although I hate it :/
The funny thing is that now that I have made MA at least one person asks me to train him every night. By the time I hit MDE I should be sorted again ![]()

Yes, Ophistes, that is the paradox of apprenticeship... Displaying a Master title is an easy way of gaining further AXP, but when you really need it for that first title, it can be daunting to achieve.
