I was just wondering about how much i should expect to pay for some skill tapes. I mainly want speed and damage (does that exist?), +3 at least. So how much should i expect to pay? I know its mainly server dependant but i just want a general idea, like a mill a point or something like that. So i know what to offer.Ive been getting the impression speed tapes are pretty dam expensive. Also i got a couple of +1 tapes, should i go ahead and pop those in? In another thread i read you dont really need that much more speed to shoot at the cap, so would i notice a significant difference with like +3 speed?

The +1 tapes are good to put into the less significant armor pieces, like biceps or bracers. These little enhancements, when you have a nice amount of them, add up in the end...
You should save the larger enhancements for the chestplate/helm/leggings.

dude r u an moron put the good ones on the bicep manbicep take like 90% less damage so they last like 5 time longer put 1s and 2s on the legging and helmet, the gloves boot and chestplate take large amount of damage

Hey guys,
I'm currently MDE, with NO skill tapes. Sure.. i have one of those silly bandolier things, but i'll be damned if i'm gonna wear it... having my backpack on is way more useful to me.
So i have a couple questions:
First, is it possible to get enough +'s to experimentation and assembly in just skill tapes on clothes/backpacks etc to give me the +2 modifier??
Second: I just saw in the flurry trade forum, a DE +1 to experimentation skil tape for a buyout of 1 Million credits? Is this accurate? Should they be that expensive for just a +1... like that's crazy! perhaps 100K for one of em i might pay. If you ppl don't mind, how much do they go for on your server??

Plus 1's go for about 20k
+2 100k
Now you can't hit the +20 you need to get the exp tapes with +1 and 2's so they go cheap, at +3 they go up a lot.
+3 400k
+4 600k
+5 800k
+6 or better your going to be bidding with people. Never know.
You can get lucky though, I got a +14 for 700k because it ws hidden in osme little auction nobody else saw.

It's really hit or miss with droid tapes. I paid 2 mil for a +9 experimentation tape, and then a couple days later bought a +16 experimentation belt for 600k. 1 million for a +1 tape is totally out of line. Droid Experimentation isn't useful to a DE in the same way that food, medicine, weaponsmith, or armorsmith experimentation tapes are to their respective classes, though many non-crafters don't seem to realize the difference.

Nilpoc, well I was grabbing them up pretty fast on the trade boards on Scylla, but my EXP is done now. Just check every auction, a couple of +1's are up now. Nightsisters drop the best tapes.
Yes, DON'T put the same type of tape into the same garment, they don't stack. That is why you need high + tapes to hit 20+

Thanks Atrella. Maybe the de crumbsnatchers will have a chance with the tapes now on scylla. 
I have to admit I did a bit of snooping aroundyour vendors yesterday. Most impressive. I can only hope to get near that quality someday.

oh, i liked.. one nmore.. can I put these skilltapes into any clothing with sockets?? ie my shorts, or my top??

Iwould be happy to pay that price for a +3 or +4 if i ever saw one on scylla. I'm interested to know myself if there is a better place to look than others for it. Totally random I assume.
A related question: Is it true that the tapes will not stack on one garmet, even if you have slots available? I have also heard that the tapes will not stick to the DE tool kits.

Heh, np, I errr snoop on occassion myself.
Actually get in touch with me in game, were sort of forming a loose network to talk and help each other out. Can point out good resources for each other as well, talk prices. Nothing official like the DENET yet, but almost.
Like you want to be all over that Vertex that just spawned, it's killer stuff.

Nice, the Ionite out now isn't horrible, we had a better spawn a while back, but this isn't bad.
You can't get much better then that Vertex, the sad thing is I'll probably make more money selling it to WS's then from making Droids lol. Yet not much else good out, I have 14 personal and 30 guild on it lol.
