Is there any word if these are going in the game? I have seen pics of arms:

Just wondering if any of you have heard word, or if DE's will be able to craft them.

I've been reading test center forum constantly. People have discovered these within the .tre files your client receives during a patch but as of yet have not uncovered their purpose.

I'm betting they are for an NPC, and won't be player usable... but thats just my guess.

Thats because the Borg are comming...the Dev's have destroyed the timeline so much as it is, they figured the Borg would be a another cool baddie to fight.

I think the Romulans would be a better fit then the Klingons. The Klingons wern't the brightest bulbs anyway. Besides I think the Rommies would be more force sensitive...

SOE have a history of adding things into patches knowing full well some people pick them to bits
The developers have thrown the odd joke bits in a number of times in the history of EQ. I do hope this is something they are considering properly though.

one person who disassembled the .tre info said there are certain "flags" items have that show if they are npc only or not.
Apparently the cybernetics are player wearable.
So we will see what goes on, but I'm hoping to see them come into the game very soon.

Atleast in Testcenter 2 they are implemented!
Got beaten up by a Mob with a full cybernetic Arm while trying out the fs quests.
No sign of them beeing wearable.....

Check the SWG Stratics chat transcript. Nice little hint about cybernetics in there.
BTW pardon my occasional intrusions in your board. I like to follow the state of droids in SWG.

No intrusion at all, since Bounty Hunters are one of our top returning customers.
And I can confirm that the Cybernetic arm is in game, since I got my arse whomped on by a Force Wielder that had one. 52k HAM, 80% AR2 all around, except for LS damage. It is one of the quests that the old man gives to you after you visit the village.
Mellichea, the force wielder, is one tough cookie to take on, even by Jedi standards. I'm still trying to get a resident TC Jedi and a few other combat types to help me finish this quest. /crossfingers
