As far as I can tell, the following droids have the bug
MSE, R2, R3, R4, R5
The following droids seem to be crafting ok
BLL, DZ70, LE Repair, Probot, Proticol, Surgical, and Treadwell
I did not test the Power droid because I did not have a power unit in stock.
Hope that helps
As a side note the customization color also does not stick on the bugged droids, so the 2 issues may be related.

Got an internal server error last night after hitting assemble items while crafting an acklay pwr hammer using a 77-96 bone. lost the bone. /bugged and opened a ticket and posted on the CS forums and the patch notes forums.
i'mwas reallybummed, just wanted to let people know (and see if anyone else is having same issue) that it may be a problem related to crafting since there are reports on the cs forums of people getting same error when crafting recyclers.

Found the bone back in my inventory this AM (no contact from a csr yet) even though i tried relogging after the problem occurred so i'm really glad about that (hopefully it'll still be there when the server comes back up).

it could be that you tapped enter twice, this borks the expermentation process, has done for ages, I have not noticed the problem on the assemble process, will test in a min, issue may not be this.

This is still happening to me.tried tocrafta mineral survey device to put in my survey droid and got the Internal Server Error again. Another player posted in the patch issues that he was having the same problem.
Here's my post in the publish issues thread (which contains screenshots of the errors i'm getting) if anyone cares.

Looks like they swept the issues board clean again.. I wonder how they are able to address the bugs with a publish when the reports on the boards are deleted so frequently??
At any rate, here is the copy of the post on the CS board.

This happened to me before, except I lost a yellow barrel, so that makes it hurt a bit more. No, I didn't get it back, CSR's said it was my fault, not theirs. Thanks for the great customer service! /endsarcasm.

CSRs kept my ticket open this time and said they want to look at my character. Hopefully they can find out what is going on since obviously i'm not the only one effected by the bug.
A guildmate of mine also got the same errors when trying to craft molecular clamps. He opened ticket # 3226176.

Sorry to hear about your barrel. I would re-open the ticket, ask nicely and see if they will replace it.

Same thing just happend to me. Lost a max 80 Gorax Bone Shard. I tried to put a ticket in but that's not working either.
Also, did the change crafting? I used to be able to craft one thing and then start on something else while that one was finishing. I can't do that anymore.

Had this happen last night, as I was crafting a Agitator Motor for the Flora Recycler. I was totally hyped, as I had FINALLY got hold of 4 spinner blades, meaning I could craft the Recycler. But alas, my happiness was soon replaced with sadness, as I got the Internal Server Error, when trying to complete the Agitator motor. Lost all components. Granted, I didn't notice them in my inv again, when servers had reset. Will look later, when I get home. I bet they aren't there tho. Red wiring and whatnot. I used /bug not sure if that is enough. I really want the CSR to have a look and, hopefully, reimburse me.

i cant craft atm, as i just became master chef and want a food tool, but every time i try it borks my crafting totally for hours, when i try to assemble the first time i get this error, then no schematic will load when i try, so, im borked.

so i crafted a new tool with my generic crafting tool, didnt work, 5 minutes later, i crafted another, it worked.
Then i log on this morning, great it stopped working again. I dunno what to do, i need to craft but i cant!

this happend ot me today also, wit ha 60dmg tissue, not a super one but still it was from a set of 4 now i cant make a laser rifle from them 
now i still cant craft it sticks where it shows it is loading the scematic from datapad?
