Thread: Advanced Droid Motive System

I tried crafting my first probot the other day near a crafting station, but I did not have the option to craft an Advanced Droid Motive System nor a Droid Defense Module Harness. I am currently almost done with Master Blueprints, and in order to make those items, it said I only need to have completed Advanced Droid BLueprints.

Any help is very welcome and much appreciated.

you need to be at a playermade crafting station or droid..

I had this same problem when I got master blueprints, and was pretty frustrated till I rememberd =)

I just went through that agony. You need to find a private crafting station in a home to build those. Private homes are found outside of large cities.

First of all, are you aware that probots are no longer worth the effort of making? Go read Holocron's Probot Nerf thread in this forum if you missed it.

Second, Advanced Droid Motive System is only craftable at PRIVATE crafting station useing the weapon/droid/general item crafting tool. Get yourself a crafting station or build yourself a crafting droid. I'm SURE you have the abiltiy to make the module by now, right?

A Droid Service Module Harness is a fancy name for the various modules, like Medical and Storage and Crafting station modules. ANY of these will fit in that slot.

Thanks for all your help, friends. I know they nerfed Probots, and that they are not even worth their weight in material, but I still would like to craft my first one.

Once again, thanks alot.

Forgot to mention you also need to be or have to get parts from a Master Artisan.

Yeah. I am a Master Artisan for the sole purpose of making the electrical components. It is going to make life easier.

Hello everyone,

I am a first time poster, though ive been reading the forums religiously for over 2 years. Since they released DE as a profession i have wanted it, and weathered the storms. I immediately grinded my way up to Expert Droid blueprints understanding that once i got there i could make probots, my goal. After i got there i found out i needed an advanced droid motive system, of which i could not find even though i was at a droid crafting station with my droid crafting tool.... And nowhere could i find where to level up to get this. What on earth do i need to do to make a single probot? Also, why isnt it written anywhere like a MANUAL what i need to do? i understand that finding out from humans is their intention... but finding a DE that is higher then me when i play (usually i can only play late nights) is no easy feat! it should be written down so you can see ALL of the components you gain by leveling a step (droid blueprints, experimentation, whatever) instead of a few basic things and then bonus'.

Id like to finish my first post by saying i love this game, and dispite many many problems with the droid engineer profession, i dont know what i would do without SWG, i love it. Thank you devs for all the hard work you do. Thanks all for your help

Advanced droid motive systems are under Adv Droid Blueprints. They require a private crafting station (or droid) and a droid tool. The public station will not do in this case (the complexity is 28). To know if you have the schematic go to your datapad it should be there.

Also what server are you on? Im on Bloodfin, if you have questions please dont hesitate to ask.

Crafting an Advanced Droid Motive System requires a Personal Crafting Station. A Personal Crafting Station is one installed by an architect in a house, or a droid with the weapon/droid/general crafting station module. If you would like to see most the schematics and their requirements look here :

Thank you both for the quick responses. I guess im a newb not knowing that... is there any way i could have possibly known? I am on the tarquinas server. Again, thank you both... also, is the experimentation advancing useless? as it seems all droids are the same no matter what components you put into them.

Also to make Advanced Droid Motive System you need to have Master Artisan skills to make certain electronic chips for them. Or you can buy them of a Master Artisan.
