Thread: New DE Questions
My grind to Int. Blueprints was a challange even more so then getting Master Artisan. I tried to sell mouse droid but no one want to to know. Eventually I started to give them away as a gift when selling resources and they went down likea storm. Everyone did not understand what fun a mouse droid could be and everyone was happy with there gift. Is there a way to incourage people to enjoy a mouse droids so that novices can make some money?
Now I have learnt Int. Blueprints I've been given a hugh amount of new materials What should I do? First I have to make each one to learn what they can do. Can someone give me advise on what is useful and what is rubbish.?

Currently... anything beyond a Mouse Droid is unnecessary and a waste of resources. Don't blame the messenger for the message ![]()
*sigh* and remember to take Jabe's comments with a grain of salt. I too am bitter about the state of DE, but as I said in another post, NOT ALL DROIDS ARE EQUAL.
You won't see anything with more than 2 modules in it until the R2. The DZ70 is a piece of crap true. I had a flesh eating chuba kill it in 2 shots. Probots are a little better... imperial probe droids... although I had to save it from a squall. ![]()
They're gonna play around with medical droids I believe... and Power droids (the little black boxy "gonk" droids) can power up other droids... still quite useless.
I like the look of repair droids... gonna redo my R4 medical as a LE repair. ![]()
to see the true usefullness ofdroids, check the other branches other than Blueprints. The modules are the true use's of droids. Crafting stations, med modules and storage droids (when fixed) will be the bread and butter of DE's.
Its not the MSE droid, its whats in it that makes it useful and valued. A lot of people will take a MSE, or more particularly an Advanced MSE over other droids because they can hold the same modules the expensive droids can, and do the same things (except for fighting like a probot). Other people will want a protocol or surgical droid just because it looks cool. Until all the droids are more distinctive in what they are used for, I think this is how it will be.

Not completely useless. While a droid with a repair module can heal another droid's health and action, it takes executing a recharge on another droid to actually heal any mind damage it has. Only a Gonk can do that without having to give/sell someone a droid battery and have them use it.

Two level 4 armor modules equals one level 6....it maxed out at 40% resists, light armor rating.

I have another question sort of related to that...I crafted my first advanced droid last night, an advanced R2 model. I put a level 6 storage unit, level 6 data storage, lvl 6 medical unit, the three crafting stations, and two level 4 armor modules, as I haven't had enough time to run composite segments through a factory for level 6 armor. When I put it all together, I still had two empty socket cluster slots. Is this related to the exploit, or could I really have slapped even more stuff in there? Not that there is a point, with item storage maxed at 10 per droid. Another question, the droid is rated as "12" for data storage. I am not sure what these mechanism quality stats on the components actually mean. I have been told that quality does not matter for the majority of droid components, but I experimented on everything I used. Is there any reason to bother? I noticed that the durability won't change with experimentation, so I basically focused on effectiveness, and a few times on quality. Any advice or opinions on these questions is GREATLY appreciated. I have newfound respect for this profession, I thought the grind was bad, that was nothing compared to how much attention to detail this needs. Thanks.

The Adv R2 can hold 1 general socket cluster and 2 service modules. That means it can hold a maximum of 5 modules. You put 6 modules (storage, data, medical and 3 stations) so definetly you exploited
It seems to me you stack 2 clusters and the 2 remaining free slots are the general module ones

Me either... I doubt anyone really knows the answer

No reason, except for level 3 armor modules. Two max-experimented lvl 3 armor = 1 lvl 6
1. The Probot Weapon. It's just there. Don't ask how, it just is.
2. Extrusive Ore. Try looking on SWGCraft.com. Basically all you can do is keep looking until the resources shift and it appears on your server. This could be days or weeks.
3. Modules. I usually use the highest level module in my droids. However, I remember there being something in this forum a few months back about armor modules. I think it was along the lines that 2 level 2 modules were better than the level 5 module because armore peaked at a certain percent. Maybe one of the other DE's who remember that could help you.
Yup, the droid police will be showing up at your door lead by Ackis. Sorry.
Droid Defense Harness just means armor at this point
Clusters are only (apparently) supposed to fit in cluster sockets, not in general moduleharnesses. this will be fixed thursday.
