Dont mean to sound harsh it it does but you should read the doc faq's sticked at the top of this page. It will help you in answering alot of questions and a good place to start.

Get all your buffing tools:buffpacks,110droid,+25 clothes, bivoli, go to Coronet and start buffing until you are mindnumbingly bored.

Hopefully the need to buff queues for long periodsin busy areas will diminish and you will realise you have one of the most remarkable templates in the game and enjoy it.

Keep an eye out for quality resources and invest in some harvesters, over time youll see your stocks of quality resources grow and make some hunting contacts for when the great avian/herbivore spawns come along. The rest I'm sure you'll figure out for yourself, like when to leave your doc tag up.

....sorry about that. No offence to all the docs who put up with the hassle of starport buffing, you are far braver than I am. After about 4 buffs in a row I start to see dots.

great suggestions above kudos to you !!! i guess one thing you will need to ask yourself is this... what do i really want to do as a doc. buff, craft, a combination... it does get a bit boring after a while. unlike some of the other crafting professions we dont get new schems added to our crafting template (ie weaponsmith, armorsmith etc). we just strive to make the things we have better.

one thing you will need to consider is combat. do you want to be involved in combat anyway. as a doc, most of your skill points will be aligned with that, so you will need to see what you want to do. you will have enough points to master a combat prof, but that is pretty much it. you will not be able to be master rifle and take the pistoleer def tree, or the tkm tree etc.

so i back to my original question... what do you really want to do with your doc profession? will you have an alt?
