depends..
What side of doctor would you like to know? (healnig the wounded, selling stims, selling meds, Cnet buffing, buff pack selling?)
There are easier ways to make money ingame.

How much do you make?... In how many hours?

resource selling is far mroe profitable than any crafting profession, and it takes very few skill points (possibly even 0 if you work cooperatively).

Just buffing I can pull in maybe 200k profit an hour... 400k of pure revenue.

Corbantis had a live event in cnet last night, even with 4+ docs buffing/rezing, there were still tons of people waiting for services. I had people throwing money at me from all angles, prob made over 300k in about 25 mins (could've made more but had to help guildies out). It was a lot of fun!

Today I made about 370k buffing in Coronet. I spent 125k on the buff packs, so you figure I made 245k profit.

Five hour buff run. I made 2 mil. Used a little over five buff sets. My buff sets only cost 120k per set which leaves me a huge profit margin. I used havla about ten times of course to speed up the process.
One thing you should know is if the guy next to you is doing buffs for 3k less and is doing 50 more points on each stat and half an hour more that doesn't mean no one will line up for you. In fact you will still get all the impatient people who don't mind getting buffed for a little less. You just need to have good solid buffs which are the same (except for one stat which can be higher) and I find people tend to thank me for giving them buffs that are 3 hours or more long. I never saw anyone care if I was advertising 2505 or 2571.
Thus far I've been lucky though. I have been giving solid buffs that fall in the top 95% of the buff sets out there and I always treat my customers nicely. When they see me at a starport they'll tip right away and line up sometimes.
No idea about resource selling. I found that the whole resource gathering game tends to require more than one account in order to have the lots necessary to harvest large amounts to sell whole-sale style.
