Thread: Am I the only one who thinks factories produce too slow?
I mean, come on. If this wasa Ford Plant, they would have long been fired.
I can produce 100 stims faster than the stupid thing.
Sure it is convenience as you don't have to babysit anymore but to still spend over12 hours to produce 100 Stims using 1 factory is rediculous. And you still have to babysit the thing every few hours just to start another run of something else.
All I ask is they at least speed this up even 1/4 more speed.
Factories produce items that are all identical... no critical failures, no moderate failures and you don't have to click a million times and they can do the work while you are not on-line or out killing stuff . The trade-off? They are slower and have upkeep costs. Sounds fair to me. They shouldn't be as fast as making them by hand.

Heh .. you too! I'm always amused when it happens .. especially as I dislike having the factory sit there idle ... if I'm not going to use it for 3 or moredays I re-deed it.
I think that factories are slow, but then that's time that I don't have to spend making components or stims to sell, so I think it's an okay tradeoff.
I won't argue if they want to speed up factories though ![]()
When you experiment 1 point at a time that drastically raises the complexity of the items which in turn makes the factory take longer to produce your items.
The formula that factories work off of is 8 secs X complexity. My suggestion would be to make the sub-components as fast as you can by using as many experimentation points as you can at once until you have used em all. Then use them however you wish when making the stimpacks and put them into the factory overnight.
I think they're just fine. They produce faster than i can collect resources. But then again.I have multiple factories working at once.
Maybe you should try that. You'll be impressed at how much faster it seems when you have two.
