I had a box and half of crafting xp to go for combat medic (i still think of myself as a doctor first and foremost which is why i post here....besides Zarlor is a good correspondant) and after setting a run of factories I sat and chatted until I noticed that I got no crafting xp.

While the 10% wasn't much, it cetainly helped.
