Thread: Grinding crafting exp
The same, and hated every second of it.
Especially since every single one of them was worthless to me at the Doc level since nothing I have uses just 1 BEC and it's not like anyone would by them.
Advanced bio controllers. Kind of stinks to burn Lokian wheat this way, but with 5 crafting tools and the crafting macros (so you just have to place the resources), you can get around 25K crafting exp an hour.
I generally craft grind while in a med center, so my exp gain is less than optimal, but it's more fun having the extra interaction with people.
interesting happymob...so how does that crafting macro go?
i think i have seen one before, but if yours works well, maybe you could share it...
i often craft in the med center as well, occasionally breaking for some real intereaction. i use a couple crafting tools but i alwyas use mouse and enter key... a macro would save my wrist a bit...heh
two more questions heh...(i am just starting my first level of doctor tree)
1. do you use practice mode? or is the tiny bit of extra XP not worth the wasted materials?
2. why are the Biological Effect Controllers useless? just because you have more than you will ever be able to use? but you will eventually use them, right?
thanks for the advice! i love working towards doctor!
1. Yes - practice mode. It's either that or continuously deleting.
2. As you rise in crafting you will need BECs or advanced BECs that are from factory crates. So ... throw those hand made ones away once you pass the items that use only a single BEC.
Thanks!
and wow,
i did not think about that...so advanced meds require multiple IDENTICAL components made from a factory? heh...cool...hmmm, so i guess i will need a factory...
do you all have factories? or is contracting out easy and affordable?
Thanks again for all the advice! i am looking forward to getting into the advanced area of the doctor tree
so any chance of one of you posting the macro that works for you...i will search the boards, but if you have one that is working well, i would love to try it!
thanks!
One word. Search.
There are some on this forum out there, I just don't have it handy. Sorry.
I believe that the bio-engineer board had the most recent good macro post. Basically, the macro opens the tool, selects the schematic, pauses 5 seconds, finishes the prototype in practice mode (woohoo!) and start the next macro. I chain 5 together to create 5 advanced BECs in about 35 seconds.
Here's the bio-engineer thread...
