"Spices - At the moment spice downtimes are bugged. After the effects wear off your HAM will return to normal but your secondary stats will remain lowered until you relog" (or consumer food)

Fellow smugglers, can we give this issue a little more priority? Think about what a first time buyer's experience is going to be.If I wasnew to spices and this happened to me, I'd probably not buy spice again. I would be thinking not only do I get a downer, but my secondaries are messed up too unless I got out of my way and buy food or log out. Well I don't know what food, where it get it...oh what a hastle..forget spice.

Can we please have thislisted inthe next Smuggler's issues with some priority. By turning off a lot of people to spice, it damages the profession. I know there are some people that still buy it, but a lot more would if they didn't have to deal with this hassle.

I am totally in favor of getting experimentation in as well, but I think fixing this bug is higher priority. Does anyone else agree?

Final bump....I guess no one cares about this very much.

I'm going to bump this once....I hope you don't mind.

I'm not sure if there's no Fences here or if it's just that no one cares about this issue? I used spice the other day on Lok, and after it wore off my regen rate was shot. Prettyannoying.

Personally, I'd like to see this fixed right afterslicing IV is fixed. I would like to be able to mass produce spice and have a large enough customer base that money would come in pretty well. Currently food and spices are both underutilized and a bug like this doesn't help the situation. It would be great if one dayspices (and food alike)soldlike stims.

Hello, well, maybe this would be better put on like the smuggler forum, dunno. I put it here because I'm a doc, and it affects me as a doc, and because docs deal a lot with stats, and so do spices.

Anyhow, the other night I took some muon gold to enhance my mind. Worked good for awhile, got the downer (which I was expeciting, no problem there). Downer wore off. Except it didn't. The game said "Muon Gold finished", but when I checked my stats, I still had Mind 300, Focus: 150, Willpower: 150. Normally I have Mind: 1100, Focus: 600, Willpower: 600. It might also be worth mentioning, that when I checked my stats while I was in the 'downer', the focus and willpower showed up as -300, or something like that. A large negative number.

I suspect what is happening is that when the downer 'hits', I got double-penalized by the game, and took twice the downer damage that I should have, then when it wore off, I still had the 'normal' amount of damage because it restored only the amount that the downer is *supposed* to do to begin with. Something like that.

Anyhow, I consumed some air cake and that took care of the bugged stats, but it still needs fixed.

Actually I think that is all a part of the Stat Stick bug. If they ever get that one figured out, it should fix this problem as well.

I could never get food to fix the post-downer stat loss. I just log off for a few minutes, that seems to work fine.

Mythra, are you definitely using it POST downer? Because if you try to eat during the downer (which lasts a full 3 to 3-1/2 minutes) it won't make a difference. It will definitely have to be after the full downer has completed.
