Thread: No More Tell Hell

I just recently mastered doc, and I decided to make my own buff packs, mostly because i was incredibly low on money because of the cost of resources. So i cranked out my first set, looked at the 800, 2 hour lasting, packs and groaned. Oh well, I said, i'll just hunt with my guild, buffing for free, until i get a good amount of money to buy good sets, then i will enter into the world of extreme buffing. Well, we decided to hunt rancors the first night, and while we waited on everyone to show up, I threw up my Master Doctor tag and tried to get some business. Almost immediately, a TKM approached and asked very kindly if I was buffing publicly (I had already buffed some of my guild). I said sure, and told him my price of 8k. I immediately recieved a tip (and it was real 
) of 10k. I was astounded. "Why?" I asked. The TKM responded, any buff is a good buff, and I don't want to have to fly back to coronet and wait in a line. I said ok, buffed him, and he went on his way.
After that amazing experience, I was pretty sure I had run into a fluke. But, the very next day, I was hunting with a friend in Fort Tusken for med xp (so many corpses and people running up from the tunnels with 3 warlords close behind) when I was, once again, asked for a buff. I said sure, meet me outside, and after no delay, recieved ANOTHER 10k. I responded by saying that I only wanted 8k, they weren't the best buffs around, and they responded, anything will help.
So, I have come to the conclusion that I will eventually either make really good buff packs or buy them, but I will never go buffing in Coronet. I enjoy good customers and will only buff outside of city's.
On another note, I was asked to come rez someone in the Geo cave and I responded no, since I was in the labor outpost waiting to fly to coronet. I was badgered for quite some time, constantly repeating that I didn't think I would get to him in time, and that I really didn't trust his "friends" that were going to protect me while I rezzed him. I have really bad luck when it comes to rezzing poeple in hostile environments. Really bad luck.

Actually just throw out a high price for the trouble like 50k - 100k to come out and rez. You would be surprised how many people say ok.

/agree thats my main source of income atm, ill run around krayt graveyard, NS, offer to go on corvette to rez people (200k for the entire time), or hang at the geo lab, and i rez for 75k, so many people pay and rez kits are very easy to make

is there a way to set up your character so the default tag is not "Master Doctor"? Each time I log in I have to change it again, but during that time I already have 10 tells asking for buffs.

lol, Ilogged into coronet last week and loaded up to a line 10 people long line. If you change you title to NO TITLE then it will default back to your last title when you log back in but if you change it to something else like nov marksman that is what will be there when you long back in.
