Heads up people. It is easier now to spot these more than ever since the bank tip no longer comes from the sender but rather Bank. I have ran across 2 people on Starsider in NYC that has screwed me with this on 4 occasions and I nevner noticed it untill 3 days later when I checked my mail log. If any of you docs see this guy running around trying to get a buff, please black list him. he is a very shady, knew what he was doing and even tried to bribe me from telling on him. Then he runs into Cnet a little later and brags about what he was doing and that no one was going to stop him.

I'm sorry but it's really your fault if you fell for it. Not saying the guy shouldn't be reported, but you really need to be more careful.

Yeha, you got scammed, but you weren't paying attention I see...

I haven't buffed the public since the new bank emails, I see it kinda sucks because, now you get a bunch of emails from "bank" so you cant see quickly who's tipped you in line yet.

You must open, or highlight each mail, that sucks.

How has it been working folks?

I believe if they setup bank tip to pop up on your screen like a regular tip it would be more convenient.

LMAO. You are taking this WAY to seriously. If you want to get technical, telling your friend who have not even met the guy to report him is just lieing, and I do this all the time (gasps) BUT, I always tell the doctor if they dont find out and pay them, and tell them to watch for it in the future. The one time I got caught, the doctor thought it was funny and didnt really care as long as I tipped him .

Ummm.....

You can't get your mailbox to come up and show you the email from the bank to confirm that money has been received from JoePlayer?

I don't start buffing until I see the email, unless the patient has made arrangements with me to tip in spatial. I've had too many people who have just decided to tip me and expect me to keep up with the spam and see them there.

Unless I've gota bank tip messagein email, which is (relatively) spam free, the person is NOT IN THE LINE.

So did you pay Dajinn afterthey realized what was going on? You're in-game name is 'Ryan now so i'm just curious.

Most docs I know won't laugh at this, Mokan, so you're lucky you found one that did. For most this makes the game a pain when they have to hunt down someone who hasn't paid.

Personally, yeah maybe they should pay more attention but that doesn't mean that it's right to teach them a lesson this way. It still sounds like you're trying to get out of paying to me, considering that you and 'Ryan are one in the same ( and possibly 'bam too). You told me 'Ryan was your new char. I don't think Dajinn saidthat you paid in the end. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If I'm wrong, then I'll see you in-game. If I'm not wrong then......

I'm really dissappointed that you would do this, Mokan.

If this is how you play this game then I would request that you never contact me in-game again, please. Not that we talked a lot lately anyway, but I would rather it not be at all now.

I hate the cheap people who don't want to pay 10k for a service like buffs, you can make that in one mission. I keep all my money in the bank and never carry any on me so i won't accept any regular tips and lose track of my line. I had this wookie getmad and say that he sent me money but he was so stupid he typed out the whole scam line in his spatial bar and hit enter on that instead of the email. Then he still said he was going to kill me over that ha, gotta love an angry french wookie.

You need to pay more attention, but that doesn't excuse someone trying to run a scam. I'm sick of having to be on guard against various scammers. I buff-banned an entire guild over one of their guys stiffing me on a set. I've kicked several people out of line for bank-tipping me 1200 instead of 12000. Any that deny it get buff-banned, reported, and ignored.

Ya, it's extreme, but it's the price everyone pays because of the scammers. My rules are written for the lowest common denominator.

We really need a pay interface.

Just add to your buff spam that customers DO NOT TIP UNTIL IT'S YOUR TURN!

Doing it like this I find it easy enough to watch for the system message for a cash tip, or hear the little bleep and check my mail.

If someone does tip out of turn, thank them kindly for the donation, then ask them for 10k for their buffs.
