I’m currently a 4/4/4/0 Doctor and I HATE crafting. Is there any reason to train up to Master Doc if I plan to buy all my Meds?

Thanks for your feedback.

@ 4/4/4/0 you only get a med usage rating of 90, so any buff packs you buy are going to have to be experimented on to reduce their usage rating, which takes away from their effectiveness.

That's about the only thing I can think of.

You get another +25 in Wound Treatment which helps you out when buffing and healing wounds. Also, most Cure Poison and Cure Disease C's have to be experimented down to 90 Med Use so a non-Master Doc can use them. They usually have to sacrificea little bit of power to do this. It's not much, but every bit helps. Being Master Doc allows you to use packs that are unexperimented and a little more powerful.

There is a pretty good difference...I've actually done Doc twice now (once on my main and then on an alt) and I loathe the crafting end of it. But when those same 90 med use buff packs are hitting for 200 points more per buff it seems worth it. If you are planning on making money like a lot of docs do then yeah you need master. Nobody goes to a non-master looking for buffs unless they are desperate. The best you'll be able to do even with Bivoli is just under 2k.
