Due to a shortage of liquid petrochem. class 4 on our server, I was wondering what would the effects be if I used a normal CRD in any pharmaceutical ? Would I loose out on alot of power and charge ?

You'd lose some power, but you shouldn't lose any charges. In terms of power, you should lose whatever the difference is between your CRDM and your ACRDM. For example, if your ACRDM is 50 and your CRDM is 19 (pretty much the best CRDM you can make), you will lose 31 power on stims/wound/buff packs.

Thanks for the help, guess its not that bad or I could just be patient and wait till class 4 liquid petro. comes round to our server again

Yeah, that's basically what I do. Stim E and Wound Medpakpak E are ridiculously over-powered (especially woundpak E's). So, I put that to my advantage by making stim/medpak E's with regular components (maybe use ABEC, and possibly ALS in the stims since resources for those two components are fairly common). I basically save the advanced components for buffs (well I've kind of quit making meds for awhile anyhow - got sick of constantly hunting up resources - especially after I had a factory decay in like 2 days and lost about 2 month's worth of resources and components worth easily 2-3 million creds *sigh*).

ouch the whole factory houdini thing happened to me also lost about 400 65power ACRM and 10k of really good reactive gas. Put two factories up on the same day paid same maint on both and lost one of em (was this after hte last patch?

Sorry for the hijack as afar as normal comps in buffs normaly i wouldnt but hey if you don thave class4 than other people dont either so just make the best buffs you can, maybe try dropping charges for power on your ABEC's (I wouldnt).

That may sound silly, but my best advice is to alwaysstock up on buff packs, even if you have to buy them from someone for that... I always keep 150 sets for my own use in bank, just in case we totally run out of good liquid 4 (we are getting there on sunrunner too).
