Im currently going through the doc proffession and was just wondering what is meant by a "12 point doc" ?

skill tapes can be aquired that give you two extra experimentation points for crafting

Am i right in understanding that to get those extra 2 points u need med experimenting tapes to the value of 20 or more, the cap being 25 ?

That is correct yes. You can also get med exp from doctors apron and some clothing/armor drops from NPCs

Basically it lets you get < 90 med use w/o sacrificing power and add a charge to the final product.
That's what you get for a cool 30mil
