I can see this being much more despised than a simple enhance value reduction... By reducing value.. you can try to balance damage issues, etc.. by reducing time.. you are only changing the play experience.. not the underlying issue of balance.
Right now, in the mythical Combat Revamp, doc buffs are going to take a hit. I'm just saying that it would be better to take a hit in duration not power. Because if we take a hit in power, we will lose a hell of a lot of business. (Will people wait 1/2 hour in line for a buff that only increases HAM values by 750 -1000?? Even if it is the only game in town?)

The combat balance will not just change how much buffs enhance for.. There will be other factors involved as well.. I have a feeling we are going to have to change our entire mindset about how buffs work and how the number come into play..
Basically..what I am trying to say.. is that I bet a 750-1000 point buff will be equivalent in gameplay abilities to a 2500 point buff is now... People will wait around for a buff that is 750-1000.. You know why? Cause everyone else is doing the same thing.. and you wouldn't dare go out and throw down.. with 750 less HA than everyone else..
