I know its probably been asked a million times. Sorry but my search turned up nothing.

If a master doctor drops a hospital then later gives up the doctor tree completely, does the hospital stay?

Yes. It will stay. The only check performed is when the hospital is placed or ownership transfered, so once it is dropped, it is safe!

Consider however that they are going after people exploiting the merchant class right now, to stop them from doing the exact thing you are considering doing. I wouldnt be surprised if a month from now, they said that all people who had a merchant tent, or a hospital without the required skill, would have it destroyed if they didnt take care of it soon.

Make no mistake, going to master doctor, placing the building, then dropping MD and keeping the building is an exploit. If they meant for non master doctors to have the building, they would allow people other than MDs to place one or have it transferred to them.
