Thread: Fastly Approaching Goals...
Instead of worrying about "goals", I have focused on a philosophy that will ensure I actually enjoy the game long term. I have developed a means and method document for crafting doctors.

My immediate goal is to figure out if I can compete in the buffpack business without having a stockpile of the 30k vet rewards. I was out of town for 9 days after the vet rewards came out, so I could not commit cash to buy them up. I fear that this will likely mean that my packs will continue to be substandard for quite a long while.
If the galactic-search idea went through as originally designed, there would be no point in a crafting doctor making any buffpacks without using the best avian ever from the server (in my opinion). That would have been the end of my business. Now, my longevity depends on my ability to buy up the few remaining vet rewards, and the form that the eventual galactic vendor search takes.
If you use the Merchant's Friend program to keep track of your sales, I'd suggest you to copy and paste your customers list and send them an email saying you're buying the 30k deeds for 3-4 Mill a piece (or I don't know ... whatever is the going price for those atm in your server).
I did that once the vet rewards came out almost 2 weeks ago, and till this date I'm still getting daily offers of them to my vendors. So, assuming you have the credits to invest, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting your hands on a bunch of those.

I actually did that when I got home on Saturday. I have been pleasantly surprised to receive 4 kits so far. My cash reserves are actually quite limited, but I will continue to buy these up as long as I can.
I was also quite successful in getting my customers to help me collect some Lok Wheat that spawned while I was away. My offering price was well below the going rate so I didn't expect to receive as much as I did. These kinds of deals will be very hard to come by if teh global search goes into effect.
Adapt, adopt, and improve I guess...

This would seem the best place to mention this little bit of information.....
LEDAO LEARNED SOMETHING ABOUT MEDICAL CRAFTING.......FROM ME!!!!!
Today, I am a man.
Glad I could help you reach a goal Pavadin. ![]()
And thanks for that, too. I can't believe I thought it was "fruits" all this time... Evil "fruit"/"fruits" distinction...
As for my goals... Well... The couple that I hadn't already reached were rendered pretty meaningless by the resource kits. Now my goal is to find someone that wants to buy a Med business with the capability of producing 50,000 buffpacks and a couple million units of stims. Heh.
